I'm not certain that would be a fair comparison as testing has evolved. Were the tests looking for the exact same indicators earlier in the year compared to now?

I also understand the ability to recognize a positive result is a matter of the sensitivity of the test and the test method utilized. Is test sensitivity now greater than it had been so more are now diagnosed positive whereas those same people may not have been diagnosed positive if tested using an older test type or method?

Hopefully, Trump referring to the laptop and Biden corruption will prompt more voters to investigate.

Too bad he didn't also mention Tony Bobulinski's news conference where Bobulinski stated Joe Biden is lying regarding his knowledge and involvement in Hunter's business dealings including funds for Joe that were routed through Hunter.

Apparently, main stream media including NPR all refused to even mention the news conference or the additional evidence Bobulinski is to turn over to FBI and to Senators. This left only Fox News reporting the story and televising the live news conference shortly before the debate last Thursday..

Bobulinski was a prior business partner with Hunter Biden. He claims his evidence will prove Joe's direct involvement. Although Senators are anxious to meet with him, he apparently spent all day Friday with FBI.

The Commission needs to be abolished. I think candidates should decide for themselves which issues are to be discussed or allow voters to choose the topics.

Simon, I agree with your assessment but also think the moderator last evening was actually fairer to Trump than she would have normally been or was expected to be.

I suspect this may have been due to Trump mentioning her by name as worse than 60 Minutes Lesley Stahl with who he abruptly terminated an interview with earlier this week due to the manner in which he was being treated.

What helped this debate immensely is each candidate was given opportunity to rebutt statements made by the other. During the 1st debate, there was no opportunity for rebuttal offered so the only method to clarify inaccurate and misleading statements made by the other was to immediately correct or clarify a statement directly when the other uttered it.

Joe Biden is often carefully selective with his wording.

He denies receiving money from China, Russia, Bursma etc, which may be technically true. Because Hunter was provided funds on behalf of the "Big Guy" which has now been confirmed is referring to Joe, Joe 'technically', received the funds from Hunter, likely as a gift.

Isn't it mainstream media and social media that are reporting the poll results?

Since news reports are being edited or blocked to reduce/prevent negative reports against Dems, what leads you to believe the reported poll results are actually genuine?

Many people that want to be accepted by others, will often do as they think the majority does so majority support reported for Biden could sway them to also vote that way.

it would be a wonderful thing if the news media tried to exercise some fairness when they report the news or editorialize on a matter.

if the news media does not stop showing bias, i would like to see sanctions of some sort on the cnn’s of the world.

i really don’t think they can make the media fair but it would be nice..

When I want the 'News', I expect to be provided factual information without commentary, editorial, speculation, opinion, or propaganda inluding fear mongering. If I want commentary etc, networks and other media typically offer other programs and articles that offer that content.

Printed media (newspapers etc) had historically been considered a more reliable media as printed information cannot be quickly or easily corrected or revised. TV and internet news sources do not attempt the same standards of acruracy since misinformation provided during one newscast, can be simply updated during the following newscast, special announcement or web page refresh.

hey so i won't go too much into the details though there would be so much more to say....in a nutshell, you are repentant but not enough so we disfellowship you ....i asked, can you clarified this "not enough repentant" please ?as one of the reason of not being repentant : " you didn't put on your camera during zoom meetings !!!

" they yelled at me, like a bunch of wolves against a sheep....so :.

- no scriptural basis.- abuse of power.- my phone can't handle to have its camera on more than 20 minutes.then they yelled " jehovah does want you in the congregation" !like you are not welcome here....strangely to me, isaiah 1:18 and the story of the prodigal son tells a complete different story....well the whole bible is about love forgiveness and repentance !!

I get it. You were kicked out instead of choosing to quit on your own. Rejection is hard to accept.

Like it or not, it's their club, their rules. If you don't adhere to their rules, you can be kicked out and they can tag on whatever additional reasons they wish to add to further justify that decision to themselves and WT.

This should be no surprise as you've participated in this forum for 5 years.

As Cofty said in his 2nd paragraph above, they did you a favour. You are now pushed to decide how you wish to proceed.

Needing to Questions Elders to Help Husband Understand

While I understand your reasons for wanting to do so, I too suggest you reconsider meeting with elders.

Involving elders implies they are important or hold some power or authority. Now that you have left the religion, the only importance, power or authority they hold is what you allow them to have.

You and your husband are each other's chosen life partners. You are both individuals with individual thoughts, ideas and beliefs which do not always need to be identical to enjoy a great marriage. Even when you disagree, there should be no reason you can't discuss matters between yourselves to understand and accept each other's point of view.

Your husband insisting that you talk to elders implies he is not comfortable, assured or committed to the JW beliefs or the other concerns you wish to raise, otherwise, he should be able to discuss those matters without needing other men to intervene on his behalf.

He knows doing personal research into the concerns you raise will require effort on his part which may lead to his own questions and doubts. By insisting you meet with the elders, he is attempting to take the easy route as he knows he will not need to put in any effort and, they will attempt to change your thinking, not his.

Although he attempts to defend WTs actions, as a member of the congregation that can't explain the reasons, perhaps he, not you, should be demanding an explanation from the elders.
