  thank you so much everyone for your replies, for talking to me over the last few weeks and for some of the humour.. i believe the jws are right and that they have the truth.

  Interestingly, some anesthesiologists revealed that up to half of their Jehovah?s Witness (JW) patients had been willing to re-evaluate their position on blood when a private conference was held with them. This was especially true of younger JWs who frequently expressed their desire to live and willingness to accept blood treatments if necessary and if kept confidential. This seems to confirm our belief that there is wide spread dissent and dwindling support for the WTS blood policy among JWs.

  This says it all. They are more affraid of the bOrg than displeasing Jehovah. It is the fear bred into them which has them asking for help in the dark.

  I know exactly what you mean. It was tough for me too, when I left the first time, back in the mid 80's. I just felt so awkward. Time will help, I'm sure.

  my husband and i started adoption proceedings over a year ago so he could adopt my 2 sons from my first marriage.

  well today we finally had the court hearing and guess what.................the adoption went through!

  my hubby is now the boy's father!

  it is eating me alive watching my "best friend" who is df'd for questioning the wts completely shunned by his pioneer jw daughter.

  it hurts me when i see him hurting.

  his daughter got married and refused to invite him because he is disfellowshipped.

  I have had to learn to accept that she has the right to live her life just as I do. Hopefully, one day, she will wake up.
