i have been dating my girlfriend for a little while now.
we have a great relationship, for the most part everything is great, we get along etc.. .
but she has a concern about me.
I'd do things that would borderline being an "asshole".
hehe, so does my husband.....men!
When I was first dating my husband I did the exact same thing...I hit him with a pillow. He was like, "What did you do that for?" I said, "Lets play!" He didn't quite understand the concept.....hehe, I sure miss those days...now he does the lick my face thing and I can't get him to stop playing....

my hubby and i had my mom over last sat.
and overall she was pretty good with the exception of the magazines she left at the very end.. now she has called and asked if we can get together, just us, for cokes on friday while i'm in town.
now, i know that she is going to witness to me and ask me if i love jehovah and tell me that if i do i should obey his commands.......and so on....and i will probably leave her feeling worthless.. i don't want to miss out on spending time with her because i really love my mother....but on the other hand i don't want to leave her depressed.... any suggestions?

I don't see any reason to wait. The only thing I would caution you about is doing 1 or 2 things and then just slipping back in to the old routine. Keeping in mind the things you talked about months down the road will be sure to impress her. It makes a woman feel like a man doesn't care when he quickly forgets what was discussed.

So I would prefer it if she just came out and asked without the hinting thing.
Sorry, that just isn't what women do. Women don't want to have to spell it out for you. That is just too easy. They want a man who will put the extra effort in to figuring out what would make them happy. You doing something special for her without her having to tell you what to do will make her feel loved.
