hey all,.
ok...i know for a fact that you have all probably heard this before but i am new here so i don't really know all the topics that have been discussed.
so, at the risk of repeating past topics.....here i go.... i am 16 years old and have a boyfriend who is a jw.
Hi babygrl....Welcome!
I know you will get several responses to this and most likely a lot of good advice. I don't have much to tell you except to keep in mind that if someone really truly loves you, they won't ask or expect you to change who you are......they will love you for you.
I was in a similar situation except I was the one who was a JW and was dating someone else. The elders in the congregation met with me and said that they couldn't tell me who to love. Eventually I left the religon for the person I wanted to be with.
I guess all I'm saying is, stay true to yourself. If you want to talk more, feel free to pm me.
Good Luck with everything!

my husband went to take our dog out for his nightly walk last night and as they were headed down the staircase (dark) there was something flipping around.
both my husband and dog ran back upstairs.
we both peeked around the corner and shined a flashlight on it.
Ohio...
Ouch!
That was sweet of you to try to save it if it had been a bird, though.....

Lyin',
I found this story about Texarkana....which as you know isn't far at all.
It was just strange to me since I had never encountered one before. The maintenance people for our complex just stopped by to do a few things and I asked them about it. They said that there have been other instances of bats in this complex. One of them even said that bats were brought in to the Shv. area to help get rid of the mosquitos.
Hey, about the mini-fest...sounds great to me.....just call me sometime and we can schedule a trip to the mall. If you don't have my no. anymore, just pm me.....
Officials: Bats no rabies threat to apartment tenants posted: 07-15-2004
Arkansas officials say there's no health threat to residents of a Texarkana apartment complex where bats have been living.
Those bats have been the focus of attention since four people died of rabies after getting organs or an artery from a Texarkana
donor who died in Texarkana May 3 after contracting rabies.
The disease was found in William Beed Jr. after his organs and an artery were transplanted into other patients. Those four transplants were done at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and all four people died of rabies.
The Arkansas health department sent a letter to the owner of The Willows apartment complex in Texarkana, saying the bats don't need to be eradicated.
In Arkansas, bats are considered protected wildlife, making it illegal to kill or poison them unless rabies exposure has occurred. Bats often are infected with rabies.

Thanks, Valis....that was the story I was thinking of.
