Need some advice/input for a possible "showdown."
by robhic ini asked my jw girlfriend some questions a while back that she was unable to answer so i gave her cites from wts literature to backup my assertions.
i could see a glimmer of confusion that maybe i had a point.
now she wants me to just have a nice little chat with her good pioneer friend (black lady, very nice in her mid 50's) to ask the questions so that someone more knowlegeable can take a shot at my queries.. so my question is how should i go about this informal little chat?

Not that its a bid deal but the Sun isnt massive enough to go supernova. It will become a red giant and collapse within about 2-3 billions years however. Before that happens its surface will swallow the inner planets and extend almost to the orbit of mars.

That is arrogance. She was worried enough about $200,000 to risk everything? I think not. Rich people think that murder and armed robbery are the only crimes apparently.

Are you suggesting that if you noticed most xJWs here were conservative that you would believe being conservative equalled disloyalty. And in what aspect are you insinuating liberals are disloyal. Further what is it you are calling disloyal. Free speech? Criticizing a reckless administration? Question the real patriotism of a sitting president?

Why are there so many yellow dog democrats on JWD? Are most xjws liberals. Perhaps its because JW's have no "sense of nation" because they are taught to believe that all nations are under satantic influence, then when they leave they are without a country, they seem to have no loyalty to anything? What have they done to pay for their freedom (cliche). I'm not pointing a finger but I've found that JWs in general have never done anything for their country or their fellow man.

I am so disgusted by what we did in Iraq last year I am almost ashamed to be an American. Its all thanks to Bush. He has brought me shame.
Entire families were wiped out. They did nothing to anyone. One man lost his parents, his wife, his siblings his children, everyone. He was the only one that was not at home and one of our precision weapons hit his house. You may recall the footage of the rubble. It was one of the attempts on Saddam and it was characterized by the same rescuer seen smoking a cigarette and turning his head.
Entire families were gunned down because it was determined by our forces that anyone traveling on the road was up to "no good."
AND FOR WHAT?????? We are no safer for what we did, we are at greater risk. No one asked for our help, and the way we did it certainly did not say we had the Iraqi people's best interests in mind. Iraq does not owe the US a debt of gratitude.
Iraq , I on behalf of all America apologize for our President Halliburton, God bless and godspeed in rebuilding your country.

My Grandmother was extremely senile. She had Alzheimer's really bad. But that didnt stop her from wandering off in the middle of the night trying to walk to the Kingdom Hall. She didnt know ANYTHING. But she knew she had to go to the meeting, even if it was 3 AM.
