  JW killed building a KH in Germany

  yesterday, at a construction site where a new kh is to be built,a crane fell down, killed a sister and injured some others severly.

  local tv reported that now police has started investigations against the crane operator.

  building a kh in germany is done by voluntary workers that are not properly insured by the wts but are dependant on their own insurances.

  My Take On Anonimity.

  this is just a few thoughts that i have regarding the subject of anonimity.

  yes, i am making this post after being in the chat room with several others including kent and prisca.

  it seemed to me that kent posted prisca's pic mainly out of sheer mischievousness and was quite taken aback at her very real distress at having her identity exposed.

  Letting go of JW relatives (Long)

  i've been out of the jws for some time now, seven years.

  like many of you, i left a lot of acquaintances, friends, and family behind.. the acquaintances were fairly easy to let go, the friends very hard, and the family, well, near impossible, at least up until now.

  that she should listen to both sides of the story without fear and make her own decision.

  i'm interested in knowing how any of you now raise your children.

  we all know how the majority of jw children are raised - berated, guilt-ridden, low self-esteem, spanked regularly, obey in fear, etc.

  neither have ever been spanked, i've never really raised my voice to them in anything other than a stern tone, and i don't punish for individual thought or action (unless they are/were in jeopardy of hurting themselves or others emotionally, mentally or physically).

  Also my brother used to hate peas, so he used to store them up in his cheecks like at hampster, then when dinner was all finished he'd go to the bathroom and spit them in the toilet - would have been easier just to eat them!

  This is where my cat came in handy when I was growing up, especially if we were having liver(which I HATE), the cat was really fast at grabbing anything I flicked off the plate at her.

  We had a cat that loved cheese and onion crisps, it went completely mad for them!

  When I still lived with my parents we had a cat that slept like that Bboy. I do think it is because they are contented, she certainly ruled the house

  well, i have been reading and lurking around this site for a little bit now.

  in truth i have a friend that is a christian and he has tried to get me to look at sites like this for the past 10 months.

  i have always refused as it is all "apostate run" and just "packed with lies".

  JW member of UN for last 10 years?

  i read news artical stating jw has been member of un for last 10 years.

  and in oct removed themself has any one else read or heard this it was very disturbing to me.
