GRRRRRR! this is why Americans shouldn't wear TARTAN!
It's called Tartan not plaid !
Actually, it's called a PLAID SKIRT in America...but if I go to Scotland I'll try to remember to ask about Tartan kilts!

ive been on two cruises in the early 90's with large amounts of witnesses.
one cruise we had around 85 and the other 175. one night on the larger jw cruise there were 50 or so of us watching this comedian.
he started getting a little crude using words like penis so we all got up at the same time and walked out during his act.
I've been on several cruises with a huge group of Witnesses...actually had a great time. Everyone signed up for different activities each day, snorkeling trips, excursions, etc. We went to most of the shows on board and quite a few would go dancing afterwards. As usual, there would always be a few that would drink too much, but it was never made an issue back at the KH. Some elder would just quietly talk to them about it and that was it 'til the next time!!! I think it's more fun to go on a cruise with a group of people that you know...otherwise I get a little bored!

another topic brought this up.
my dad slugged a guy who beat up his own wife, my dad's childhood friend, during the intermission right after the public talk.
which my dad gave, he was guest speaker.
LOL @ DESCENDER!!!!

i failed to find the thread right now, but there was a thread as to the 2005 annual report, and it was stated that the number of pioneers had dwindled from 858,461 to 623,308 - 27 %.
and comments were made on how little the society cared etc.
but, had yoy bothered to look closely at the figures (perhaps you've been well trained in sloppy statistics and misrepresenting by a certain group from before ......), you would have noticed thatthe column for pioneers this year has been divided in two - one for auxilliary pioneers and one for regular pioneers.
TOH...are they breaking down the number of regular auxilliary pioneers from the number of regular pioneers? When did they start doing that? If you auxilliary pioneer occasionally, then wouldn't you come under publishers only?

this week, my congregation has the privilege of the visit from the circuit overseer.. my mother took a day off work to go out.
i put in for extra hours.. in the off chance we get wrapped up in discussion, what should i say?.
Since he can't seem to get your name right, why not forget his? I was thinking that substituting McRib for McLamb occasionally should do it!
