as most of you know my two dobes got into a horrible fight in the street while walking them.
they are quite subdued at this point and ashamed of themselves.
(they have been together for over 5 years) with only 2 minor fights.. i have been treating wounds all week, shaving hair, applying antibiotic creams at least 4 times a day, to legs, necks, etc.
Where do you live that it would cost that much??? Maybe you should check around for another vet! It would be better to get it taken care of now before it gets to be a major problem. Sorry you're having so much trouble....those dogs need a BIG GUY around to show them who the boss is!!! (They really do need to have a guy put them down, like the Dog Whisperer does on occasion...)

i just got home from bellaire, mi where the first us premiere screeing of sicko took place.
mm has shown the film to a few private groups, but he specifically said that we were the first "paying group" to see it.
there were two showings - i got to see the first showing at 1:00.. first let me say that this film is not political in any way.
Next time, don't wait. They deserve to hear from you in your state of anger for being cheap assholes.

need them...I am going to get a few bp meds to have around just in case we face this in the future. Also, I just found out that I have to visit my pain specialist every 2 months now, thanks to the Anna Nicole episode! Why should all Americans have to pay for her doctor's medical violations? Who makes this stuff up?????????

I haven't really had any terrible experiences to report until a few days ago. My dad had to have a pace-maker put in last week....everything went fine. I went to get his blood pressure medicine filled...the dr. prescribed 2 pills a day and the insurance company will only pay for one. I couldn't get the medicine until the dr re-wrote the presciption. The pharmacy couldn't get in touch with the dr.....had to wait until the next day. A nurse came by the next morning to check his bp and was very alarmed...she said for us to call the ambulance!!! Can you imagine how costly this is compared to getting a few bp pills????????? Why should the insurance company be over-riding a drs. orders?????
I decided to cool off a bit before I call his insurance company......

the jw lady i work with went to summer convention last week and the following days were pure sheeeeite.
all week i could hear her a row over trying to fill everyone with her crazy spirit.
i could not find my mp# until thursday and by then i was totally pissed off.
I would definately drop a line in somewhere, that you heard they settled their child abuse cases in California, out of court. Then ask if they have a special fund set up to cover these types of costs! (Make sure other co-workers hear you!)

i was out for a walk with my 2 dobies.
i always stay on my block because they are too large, too strong and have aggressive tendencies(both in different areas) they get walked in harnesses connected to each other.. they don't get walked often enough because they are powerful, frightening beasts, but after a few glasses of wine i got up my nerve and took them out yesterday.
(we have walked this route many times before with no problem).
I think you should trade those 2 in and get a LAB!!!!!

if two df'd people saw each other on the street and both knew the other was df'd or da'd would they speak to each other?.
they're already out of the borg at this point.
I was in a KH where a lot of the young people were DF'd around the same time. They all hung out together along with some of the teenagers that weren't DF'd! We kept having "special needs" talks which fell on deaf ears. None of the other teenagers were DF'd for hanging out with their friends...the elders didn't know what to do as they didn't want to DF ALL the young people.

i have 2 ...105 pound plus dobermans who are absolute gentleman in the house and backyard.
if someone comes into the house they are sniffy but will immediately behave as requested.
(i adopted them 1 year ago).
Have you tried working them in your garage area or backyard one on one? Have someone push a bike or anything with wheels and you apply the needed corrections. It shouldn't take too long to get this problem corrected...just a little time and patience. I'm working with my lab to come off leash instead of running off...I'm practicing a lot indoors and I can already see good results!
