I am working in LA, near the LAX airport, and things there are going downhill lately. The people I work with think I am crazy, since I walk to work each day. Driveby shootings via gang activities are happening a lot lately. Its too bad that in socialist california, only the bad guys can have a gun.....

at wrapping presents...they end up looking like mangled blobs of paper, tape and ribbon.........oh the shame to see them under the christmas tree.... .

I havent wrapped many presents since I got married.. she enjoys doing it and I let her. My only job is putting up the lights, and since I traveled a lot over the past 5 years, my son has picked up that job.
By the way.... we are hoping to put up a webcam for our xmas morning so others can watch us from the east coast..... we did this for a few years and it worked well.

i've committed myself to hosting christmas day at my place and that includes cooking a christmas dinner for at least 11 people.. i already planned on my "adopted" family coming over which would be no big deal, just snacks and a few beers.
but this year i spent thanksgiving with my older brother and his family.
We do Lasagne every xmas eve.... she is making 4 trays of it this year, we are having the neighbors over.

you can bet your boots that within the next 12 to 14 months, the democrat party is going to attempt to reinact some form of the old "fairness doctrine" which said that if you allowed one political point of view to be aired on your radio or tv station, that you had to provide equal time for the expression of the opposing point of view.
i was employed in the radio/tv bidness during the years of the "fairness doctrine" and i can tell you the objective was never fairness.

Those that have been here for more than a week know that I founded and ran, until September, a national motorcycle group... Sons of Liberty Riders. We dont deal with right or wrong parties, we only deal with the constitution and our rights under it. We dont use destructive words like hate, or labels, or anything else that detracts from our cause. We also see where many lies, or mis-stated opinions, have lead to many mandates on Americans that not only cost money to us all, but limited our ability to enjoy liberty.
Never assume anything about me, or about what I type in here. I would never use the term "biker" as a threat to you, tho it may work in your world. I use the term "biker list" referring to our interactive email list which includes many of the leadership in bikers rights and the fight to maintain them.

Absolutly.
This wouldnt be definite "I am gonna go die while saving that person", but would rather be a possibility while doing tha act of saving them. I doubt many people have been in the position where you have had to make that decision, other than a few police and firemen, and soldiers at war. It is a decision reached at the time it is needed.
We drove by a house on fire, back in the 80's, when I was dating my wife. A dude ran out in his underwear, all burned, right in front of our car. I said STOP THE CAR, so I can go help. She said no way, you cant help! She drove on away from the scene, not wanting to be in the way. That nite, on the news, they reported that some kids burned to death. I laid it out for her right then and there to never ever question me anytime I tell her to stop the car, that maybe, just maybe, I could have had something to do to save them.
Having no fear has its benefits, most times.

just curious how many people have been the driver in a car/motorcycle accident.
i've been driving for 12 years now and have up and down the east coast numerous times, across country and up and down the west coast numerous times.
plus my commute to work for the past 2 years is 95 miles round trip.
I have been in some bad ones... on the bike.... amazing thing, I havent had one since I quit getting drunk.
