Worship of Men?

i remember when i was in as a teenager, some time around 2006, samuel herd of the governing body came to dedicate our newly built hall.

i remember bumping into him accidentally and a brother pulled me aside and half jokingly and half seriously telling me that i should be more careful around jehovah's anointed ones.

it was quite comical to say the least.

If a person is transgender and gets saved what will they go to heaven as?

i know this is a stupid question because the answer is obvious, but if a person was born a male and gets transgender surgery to turn into female will that person go to heaven as a male or female if they died saved?

i think they will go to heaven with the gender they were born with.

The answer is obvious? Really? You say that, then you say you think they will be reverted back to the gender they were born as. How is that an "obvious" answer? Sounds like you've still got JW in you. Only a heartless God would force people to be in whatever gender they were assigned at birth, regardless of how they feel and how miserable they are not being allowed to be their true selves. Sure, He could easily make them happily accept the way they were born, but that would be robbing them of their free will, and last time I checked, that goes against His own principles.

Oh, they're not dead, they're just going to sleep for a while, and the propaganda is a bedtime story to help them rest peacefully until they wake up, fresh and invigorated, in the new system.

Walmart of all places has many beautiful, efficient watches for under $20. I only paid $12 for mine, and it has an actual turquoise stone on it. The battery it came with has lasted more than a year so far, as did the previous one for an identical watch I lost. There is never an excuse to waste money like that. You can literally feed a family of three for an entire month on less than $400.

How do I quote on this site?

every time i've asked this in an existing thread, i've never gotten an answer, so forgive me for starting a new thread in order to ask again.

i simply cannot figure out how to quote someone with the standard yellow box.

i can copy/paste the quote, sure, but nothing i do makes it appear in a yellow box like everyone else.

I already explained that I tried the quote button, guys. Next time please read a post all the way through before answering it. Those of you who mentioned Firefox are probably right. I'm on IE, so that must be the problem. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

I simply cannot figure out how to quote someone with the standard yellow box. I can copy/paste the quote, sure, but nothing I do makes it appear in a yellow box like everyone else. I've tried the Quote icon and the Paragraph icon and the Link icon and the Code icon, both before and after pasting the quote in the comment box. I've highlighted the quote while doing so, and not highlighted it. I've done everything I can think of. What am I doing wrong? :(

3 missed calls from my jw brother last night.

i didnt answer because he's actively shunning me and when he does ring it always to preach to me about how we're so close to the end and how i should "humble myself before the mighty hand of god" .

he then texts me saying "we need to talk".

How do you come to that conclusion? The Addams family were actually very open-minded and accepting of everyone, even those whose lifestyles they didn't agree with (i.e. almost everyone).
