Happy anniversary...blondie!!.........
and...ditto ohiocowboy's post.........
i can still remember when i first posted all those years ago.
i was still an active jw but was drawn to the amazing conversations (and fights) on jwd.
h2o was dwindling and the refugees were coming here.
Happy anniversary...blondie!!.........
and...ditto ohiocowboy's post.........
Here she is!!..........Mom of the year!!.................
Take a gander at all the Dallas apostafest stories and pictures................
It will absolutely put a smile on your beautiful face!!............
i was watching the news today and they said that 16% of kids walk to school as compared to 66% of kids 30 years ago.
their is an obesity problem in the schools and walking to school helps them burn calories not just for the walk but for the rest of the day.
walking to school also 'wakes them up'.........they are more alert when they start school.
you know........I think about this often because I have a five year old niece who waits at a school bus stop.........
And even though she is not alone.....I worry CONSTANTLY, because child abductions are so rampant....
I really think there are BETTER ways of controlling childhood obesity, than expecting kids to walk to school............for me, there are just WAY too many perverts out there, who are becoming increasingly bolder, to take the risk of any child walking to school without an adult...............
just my opinion........
well, it was quite an exciting weekend!
the best fun i've had at one of these ever!
around 48 people showed up, and it was great to meet all the new people, and visit with the ones i already knew.
cg...........
omg...............I'm totally LMAO!!!!
god, that story is hysterically funny!!
(sorry, SB)

19-20 allow no place for the devil!
14 finally, we might consider what the society has published in the past on chronology.
I guess this just goes to show that we "opposers" must be having a tremendous effect on the coffers of the WTBTS..................they're not even bothering to hide their desperation...........IDIOTS!!
i don't think i'll be listened to any more, my story is not worth telling, it is too complex, it causes me too much sadness to try to relate it, too much shame and too much internal pain.
am i the only one that feels that they have given up trying to communicate their feelings here anymore?
like my personality is a sham, i do my best to cope, to be happy, to be this cantankerous old sod that tries to make out to everyone i'm doing well, but ..... anyone?
oh.......((((((((((((Celtic)))))))))))............
Maverick is absolutely dead on.............
Holding everything in does not and will not benefit you in any way. Because it slowly eats away at your mind, body, spirit, and soul........
And, when the mind suffers......the body cries out......by giving you physical symptoms that you would otherwise not have, your body is telling you that you have to release all the bad stuff that is causing you so much anguish and distress.......
We all have horror stories, Celtic..........things that cause us to feel shameful, unworthy, embarrassed, etc., etc.,,,,,,,,,,
Please don't stop communicating with us........tell your story at your own pace.......believe me.......we understand more than you think............
And once you start releasing all of your pain.......you will be creating room in your mind, soul, and heart for all the love and happiness you so deserve........
We are here for you, Celtic........whenever you need us.............
another hug......((((((((((((Celtic))))))))))
has anyone taken the myers briggs personality type test?
i am an infp (theres no big surprise there, hey??
)the idealist.
ISTJ................eeek!
yesterday, hl and i braved the bank holiday traffic and drove up to coventry to see number 1 son, his lady tania and grandson charlie.. here's charlie:.
then we grabbed a pic of charlie with mum tania:.
the we drove off to see stoneleigh abbey where simon and tania will be getting married next year:.
What a beautiful family you have............
and I love the pic of "cool dude Charlie".........he is just too cute!!
how many times did you hear that before you were baptized?
i got a little tired of it when someone called me and said that.
this was the first sign of the control thing.
Leo,,,,,,,,,you took my post right outta my fingers........
and sometimes, just to screw with their head, I'd say "what are you talking about? I WAS there....I can't believe you didn't see me!"..........
a week ago my father-in-law had a serious heart attack.
he's been wonderful to me since my jw parents disowned me.
he went into the hospital and had triple bypass surgery to correct the blockages, but first they had to cauterize a bleeding ulcer in his stomach.
Ciara.......
It is GREAT that your f-i-l is doing better!! I am happy for you!
And the b-transfusion thing always scared the daylights outta me........
I was always afraid, while I was growing up, that something really bad would happen to me or one of my siblings and my parents would rather let us DIE than to allow a transfusion......
Scary stuff for a kid......or anyone else for that matter......
