Hi Ace.. sorry to hear you had to endure that stressful situation..but seriously now you are so much better off out of the cult that is the JW org..They can no longer have control over your and your life... God will always love you no matter how you worship.. The elders can't stop that. They are not directed by God's spirit. They teach twisted and man made beliefs from the bible..

Ace-cecil gets d-shipped..............
by ace-cecil inwell it happened, oh my goodnes, it only took like 3 hours going around in circles!!!
well its a very long story people, but i have to thankyou for the help yesterday, because i totally wasnt myself in the meeting and i actually questioned them and challenged them, and one of the elders is like wow you've changed, is this someone else talking?and i was like no, my questions are genuine, from me and hes like what are you studying at uni, theology?and im like no, sport and recreation!!!
!and at first i took my sister and i wanted her to come in but they wouldnt let her, then once i started questioning them, they could only say the same few things like the faithfull and discreet slaves are the directed ones and i have to believe them and then basicaly tried to make it that i was diassociating myself and i was like, no, i dont want to leave as long as i could research from other sources and they kinda ignored that and pretended like it was fine after telling me it wasnt, but disfellowshipping me because i said i couldnt promise them i wouldnt do a couple of things they frown upon again and that i didnt know if i was repentant untill i knew that they were wrong in my heart.

You mean to tell me, normal people don't get married at 17 or 18?
by free2beme inas a witness, most if not all of my friends were married by 18, with many woman married by 17. it was so normal, that when i left the religion and met all these people married in their 20's and later, that it seemed like they were starting late.
i actually was a late person in getting married, i was 23. i remember being one of the few people my age in the congregation, not married yet.
i actually remember thinking, where am i going to find someone to marry, that is not yet taken.

When I was a JW teen in the late 1970's, everyone got married by the time they were 19, or people would feel sorry for you if you were 21 and not married.. Most got married to have sex,,they were not happy and lots of young marriages broke up in a few years.. My husband and I married at 20... we have been married 28 years.. so I guess we got it right...lol

I guess everyone has different views on how to leave the org. If you don't have family to worry about losing due to shunning. I would just get it over with and disassociate .. That is what my husband did 20 years ago.. That way we felt we had the last word and showed we knew that the JW life was not right for us. Why let them have the satisfaction of D/Fing.. another power trip.. But if you friend doesn't want to deal with either.. I guess just igore their calls and and don't answer the door.. sooner or later their little minds will be occupied with the next judicial matter if they fly under the radar..as Hawkeye said.. once you totally disassociate.. you feel free....

Was this guy disfellowshiped?
Maybe not.. if they use the 2 witnesses to a child rape theory.. They will probably counsell him and he could be out in field service on Saturday morning for all we know...

What's so special about the "Special Assembly Day"?
by Nosferatu ini never could figure this one out.
i get to sit on my ass and have my balls securely fastened to my underwear from sitting too long for only one day instead of two.
was that supposed to be special?.

Well it's special because the GB says it is.. and all good obedient DUBS just accept that and don't ask any questions...

Hi SOL I just listened to your recordings..You held made solid points to the elders and they sounded like they were squirming at bit... It was so ridiculous how they kept putting you down for having a "higher" education and asking so many questions.. You are supposed to be a little head nodding agreeable robot like the rest of the DUBS!!!..Just a side note..you said you attend McMaster, my son is just graduating from there this spring. He also plays on the Mac football team as middlelinebacker. (not sure if you follow the football at all)
My point here is.. he knows we left the JWS when he was 2 as I didn't want my kids raised in that cult life. He thanks me all the time for not raising him as a JW and now he is chasing his dreams like he couldn't if we were still part of the org.. So ..Its good to see you chasing your dreams.and getting your life back while you are young enough to do all you want to do..Its just sad though.. those mealymouth elders are so brainwashed and full of their own importance...they will never see it your way..not that they would admit anyways..

Can a disassociated person attend the memorial?
by chok ini disassociated myself last year, because i refused to attend a jc!
i preferred to jump ship rather than be pushed!.
this year my parents have invited me to the memorial?
-

My husband and I disassociated ourselves 20 years ago..but we did attend the memorial a few years back to make my mother-in-law happy as she had refused counselling to shun us.. Be prepared though for the usual blather about if you want to be reinstated as a JW in good-standing.. We were told we have to sit at the back of the hall at meetings and not talk to anyone until the elders deemed we were repentent enough for re-instatement.. No Thanks we said.. LOL

"
Looking for a siste rwho is humble, balanced, not too independent, submissive, and respectful and forgiving"
hmmmm.there's something scary about that guys profile.. maybe he should add " she should enjoy a life of menial work, not life that is worth living and doing everything I tell her to do"

How do you feel now that you've left the Watchtower?
by Honesty indo you have any regrets that you have turned your back on joe hoba by your departure?.
i bet you are shaking in your socks when you reflect on the following spiritual food dispensed by those loving brothers in new york:.
it is vital that we appreciate this fact and respond to the directions of the "slave" as we would to the voice of god, because it is his provision.
