  i have no interest in pontificating on this matter which to me seems so straightforward.

  however, since i continue to see newbies and others periodically post in error stating that the wts "owns" tobacco company stock i believe that this should be corrected and the matter put to rest, hopefully for good.. .

  This post shows exactly how valuable this forum is.. Ideas are exchanged,, if they are in error.. someone with enough patience and effort will make sure we all know "the truth" about the org..thanks for starting this thread,, It is good to know what are rumours and what are legit..

  Although I do also agree with Scully's post..as the bible says.."he who is faithful in small things will also be faithful in bigger things" or something to that effect.. (its been so long I can't remember exactly)When the tower finds out where the money is from..it shouldn't be acceptable to them..If they can spend time shutting down websites.. they can spend time finding out where donations are coming from..

  Quick survey for apostates - please everyone just yes or no answer

  do the other witnesses with whom you associate/once associated in general know that you are an apostate or have apostate inclinations?

  the reason for the phrase "in general" is that it may be the case that one or two close friends know how you feel, but others in general do not.

  in my own case, one other witness knows, but no one else, so i would answer the survey question with a "no".

  not sure..I have run into a few old friends from the Kingdumb Hall.. and some will stop and have a conversation with me.. like how are your kids doing .. nothing of a religious nature.. others look the other way... I guess the ones looking the other way are afraid I could be apostate?

  Hmmmm.. apostate.. I think I like that title... makes me feel special....LOL...( who really cares anyways)

  i can not say the word "potato".

  it's true, i have sinned against the english language.. then he tells me, you say "badado" .

  now that i'm aware of my mispronounciation it's worse because it's very obvious i am trying to say it correctly.

  without God what would humanity do?

  what would humanity do without some belief in an almighty, in a divine in something?.

  how has it shaped the way modern man thinks?.

  would we better off or worse, without a belief in that which is divine?.

  Instead of living in fear of God, we should see him as a welcome relief from our worries in fading away into nn exsistence

  Ok.. point taken.. but then...God isn't doing anything to help our problems at this time.. If he exists.. which clearly he doesn't,,(but that is just my viewpoint anyways)

  The most help people get from him is praying and then they feel better because they talked to someone or some enitity up there that might help them and so it is a placebo effect.. I pray.. I feel better.. He might help.... and yes humans do take others lives.. that is why I said humanity messes up the planet...but I feel better taking actual physical action for something if I can rather than just praying to some unknown( if existing) at all entity .. who is doing nothing to help anyways...

  Without a belief in God.. maybe humanity would actually have to believe in themselves.. ............that they are in control of their destiny and they alone have to work together to make the world a better place.. as long as there are different beliefs in the world.. we can never have peace..

  ...........The world is splintered.. In fact ,, the world spins much better with out humanity.. the plant and animal life are in perfect cycles,,, humanity is the problem..We mess up everything!!!!! I have no belief in a God or a Devil.. and feel much more secure in my life than before ,,living in fear of a God who could threaten to destroy all at will...

  it seems as though many people come to this board and leave in a short space of time.. it's a pity.. there are people on this board who are very nice and polite even when discussing various views.

  this leads to understanding and concern.

  i would like to meet you people.. please post in here.. i term nice as being kind, not cursing, love for god almighty, thrives on the right things in life, not hurting other's feelings, etc.. blessed star

  The Watchblather constantly puts down organized religion in their publications.. Why do they think they are so special that they can print any dribble about what suits their purpose.. We do have freedom of speech in this country and I can't see why they have any right to quiet those who want to express their opinions openly to others.. Clearly they are afraid of being exposed in some way that their doctrines are false and misleading.. What ever happened to their motto" Wait on Jehovah".. looks like Jehovah left them high and dry and they are doing everything to cover their lying hinnys...
