The tract sure was written by deceivers and story-spinners, I hate to think that once I was one of the "idiots" that use to go and hand out that pack of lies to try and brainwash the masses. Hopefully more Dubs will start to realize the deceptions of the borg and the tract work will become obsolete.. ok so..... obsolete is a big hope,, but at least maybe there will be less idiots out in the streetwork!!

I watched a Wanda Sykes routine from a couple of years back it was hilarious, She also has a recurring role on Julia-Louis Dreyfuss's new sitcom called the "New adventures of old Cristine". I also think it is her manner ,voice and just the way she delivers the line that makes her so funny.

Here I Sit In Calgary, AB...Depressed...
by exjdub in...because i am packing to leave calgary first thing in the morning.
we flew up from florida a week ago for my daughter's wedding and had the opportunity to explore calgary and to see the rockies.
breathtaking beauty and a ton of wildlife.

We made the cross country trek from Southern Ontario to BC this summer and stopped over nite in Calgary. Beautiful city, which is really growing economy wise. The Rockies were so beautiful, We were awestruck by them. We also spent a day in Banff. We took the gondola trip up the mountain were we had a great birds-eye view of the Rockie range. Then we had lunch in a great Irish pub in Banff .Alberta really does have the best tasting beef, as it is known for it, eh??

I know that back in the 1970's when all the young ones like ourselves were getting marrried, it was usually just because they wanted to have sex. Not because they necessarily loved the person. After the excitement of new sex wore off, they had to actually live a life with the person. Many of the marriages ended in divorce or ones leaving the org. I remember one young brother who discovered that there is life after sex, actually told his young sister to get a hotel room instead of getting married. She didn't listen and her marriage ended in divorce several years later.Seems to me that waiting to have sex until after you are married almost guarantees a failed or at least miserable marriage..

So true"Don't sweat the small stuff". I find that now my life is my own and not run by the org, its just important to be happy to enjoy every day. Even more so since, a good friend of ours was killed last week when she was thrown off the back of a motorcycle she was riding on. She was only 51. Makes me realize how we tend to take life so for granted, and we should stop worrying so much about how we got here,, why we are here and what happens to us in the afterlife,,, and live..

I have heard this at assemblies also. Its just another example of mindcontrol and keeping the masses afraid to venture to far out into the "evil world" .Sometimes I think the brothers giving the talks get so used to talking BS that they actually believe themselves..
