Wife finally sees truth about "the truth"

well it has finally happened.my wife is not going back to the meetings again.as you would probably read in my previous posts, i have written a book about my experience in the watchtower organisation which is on the verge of being published.she still tried to cling to what little belief she had in the borg and did not want to read my manuscript.we discussed many of the issues and concerns i had about the watchtower but most of the times it ended in a heated argument.. i was quite surprised when she approached me about two weeks ago and asked to read my manuscript.after reading it she handed it back to me and said she fully supports me in publishing this book.her eyes have been opened to the deception and lies.i think she and a friend had a bad experience calling on one of her so-called jw friends.furthermore, she did not attend this past weekends circuit assembly..

hooray!!!.

all i have to do now is to introduce her to all you wonderful people here on jwd.. jakes.

Fencing Borders - Anyone Else Think This Is A Stupid Idea??

i've been listening to this from the congress for some time now, and it's back in the news today.

the idea is to build a literal fence along the us border, hundreds of miles long and costing millions of dollars, in order to keep out illegal aliens.. damn you canadian outlaws!

Republicans want to keep out Coloreds, whether they are Mexican, Honduran, Gautemalans, etc.... They don't mind other whites, though, like say, ehh, from Canada.

It's about race, not immigration. Just read Pat Buchanan's books--- at least he wears his racism on his sleeve.

If the end is near....

if the end is so close as they told me then why?

why did they build all those new buildings up in bethel costed millions first of i wanna know how they can afford i thought they were a none profit so how you end up with millions ?

how can they afford to pay the superentendents (rent them cars , pay there meals , lodging) where does this money come from rent stadiums for assembly's i wana know why those bigshots in bethel drive nice cars when jesus walked and the one time he rode a mule not a horse a mule !

The end isn't near. At least not the "end" the JW's want you to beleive in. At no time in their history have they put stock in their own end time proclamation.

They have built more, amassed more, bought more all the while telling their flock to "simplify."

If the demons are reserved under bonds, which are in fact chains and restraints, how in the world do they then possess people? They possessed all kinds

of Jews in Jesus' day, from adolescent to adult. So how effective are the bonds? Also, they harrassed God's angels on the matter of moses' body and the "Prince of Persia"

stopped an angel from reaching Daniel. What the hell are the bonds made of? Are they rubberbands? Or was James talking about things he knew nothing about?

And how de we know for a fact that angels, good or bad, cannot take human form? Where is the scripture? Maybe the WTS is run by demons that disguise themselves as angels

of light.

As for me, leave me a human. Eventually I'll turn into a little pile of dust. All in all, I will have behaved better as a human, with a turd spewing bum and all, much better than these

wonderful god-like spirit creatures ever behaved. Flesh and blood. That is the prize.

Why We Can Hope for the End of the Watchtower

forgive me for starting a new thread - apart from the emerging news about child abuse settlements .

but i simply feel that, for all of us who have suffered persecution from the watchtower society, their.

end may now be in sight.

I know that there is a core of believers that will never leave the WTS. The question is, are the core believers CONTRIBUTORS? DO THEY GIVE MONEY?

Many congs. are in fact supported by only a few families. World Wide Work contributions are a pittance in most congs. 70 or 80 million bucks a year for

operating costs are not inconsequential. That will eat up a billion dollars in a decade adjusted for inflation. And where is the WTS growing their beleivers today?

In countries where their is a drain in cash. Most of our friends in the congs. are in their 60's because there are NO YOUNGER PEOPLE! They are downsizing for the same reason Ford

and GM are downsizing: they are in trouble. Which is why the "end" is right around the corner.

What is driving change at WTS? What is the GB? Has it failed the flock?

what drives changes to policy and interpretations?

what processes are in place, if any?

Their meassage, if you listen carefully, is not christian. It is Not about love. It is NOT about compassion and caring and forgiveness. Their message is

about survival! Grab the life line! Get in the Ark! We are the only way! Obey us or die! It is selfisness that they teach. That is their product: Selfishness and

paranoia. That's why so many witnesses are so screwed up psychologically. And the GB are most selfish and paranoid of the group. If they really cared about

TRUTH they would have abandoned 1914, the invisible kingdom, the whole 144k literal interpretation, divine appointment. But if they did that, they woulod risk collapse.

And then who would they rule over? That is what they are paranoid about becuase it is themselves and their positions that they worry about.

There are many childless couples in my congo., but there are many with children as well. The couples without tend to be around my age, the plus 40 crowd. The ones with kids

seems to me were the ones that were teenagers back when the generations explanation went off the reservation. A lot of these have children, though not many have

an education. Of course, the majority of couples I know from my profesional association are either waiting later to have children or have decided to not have children at all. And they aren't

JW's.

You are right, JW's DO NOT STUDY eh Bible, they read, regurgitate, repeat the words in a paragraph in one of the Society's books. The Rev. is one of the worst.

I have not been to a Book Study since they started studying again. The seven trumpets my *&^%^&!!!
