  for me it is having the ability to think & act in a way that is honest to yourself & those you love - so simple, yet after many years in mental captivity, so beutifully right & joyous!.

  my kids cuddles.

  I love coming back in after a day of boating with the wind at my back and the sun lighting up the water in front of me into a million crystals with Seeger or Henley on

  the radio and watch the gulls and pelicans skim the water and feel the salt air running through my hair and with a cold one nearby. I love life in those moments. I pause and soak it

  all in and I am so greatful that I am not at a meeting, or field service, or an assembly.

  i cannot but read many of the posts in which god/jehovah or even christ is ridiculed, mocked and even hated?

  so i ask the question why?.

  When I post about God it is usually in response to the PORTAYAL OF GOD either in the Bible or the pages of WTS literature. I mock, not God, but

  those who believe that only they are His exculsive agents and either explicitly or implicitly lay claim to some special knowledge.

  I don't put God in a box. Religionists do.

  Harold Camping Denies Hell as a place

  harold camping is the president of family radio and recently on his open forum program he denied that hell is a place.

  he also has set dates for the return of christ the first was in 1994 and now he says it will be 2011. he also states that the end of the church age has come, but he has weekly meetings that are not church.

  does this sound familiar to anyone here?

  many of us are still on good terms with jw friends and family.

  my particular concern revolves around being honest with minor dubbies who may confide in us regarding doubts or problems they have "acting" out the role determined by their witness parents.
