i would like someone to discuss some issues i have.

i understand all are welcome here, so i am sure some elders or former elders could help me.

i was a pioneer for 7 years, before that i was a regular auxiliarry pioneer for 3 years, i have been a witness for 17 years.

If you haven't been to a meeting in 2 years and haven't turned in a time slip in that time, then you are inactive.

If you haven't been to a meeting in two years and yet still clean the bathrooms, then you are nuts. You don't need my guidance, you need therapy. Please go get some.

Do you wash your hands after using the restroom?

i've noticed a disturbing trend where 90% of guys don't wash their hands after using the restroom, and probably 25% don't even after number two'ing.

encouragingly, about 80% of the guys in law school do wash their hands.

(i know it's weird, but i count) .

Service meeting part about My Space

this week an article about the internet will be discussed on the service meeting.

at one meeting it was announced that the elders would be contacting parents about kids who have my space accounts.

anbody else hear it at their meeting?

JW's Are The Key to Survival

this is an elaboration of a comment i made on gills post about the demise of jw's as the years pass.

gill suggested that humans have survived turmoil in the past.

but our world is different.

JW's eat their young when they turn from the Org. What more selfish and destructive behavior is there than that? Besides, if I follow the logic of the beleiver, what saves them is not

their structure, it is divine intervention. And as was said before, elder bodies can't paint the bathrooms in the Hall without a directive from Mother. How will they ever get along without

her? They won't.

The Lengths JWs Go To In Order To Get Away With Things

i was just listening to the fifth dimension's 60s song "aquarius".

i remember witnesses loving that songf and actually swubstituting "aquarius" with "asparagus"!

you see, then it was ok to sing.

At my old job, since I didn't "do" Christmas, they changed the wording of Christmas party, to "YEAR END" party. I thought what a nice thing that was for someone to do for me.

So, even worldlies felt sorry for me because of the religion. And if ever asked about the office party, I would just say it was "the year end party."

And while on the subject, I never knew a witness to turn down a :Christmas Bonus" simply because it was Christmas. They would rationalize and say it was just the end of the year and that was company policy. DUh!..... same as the Christmas party.

Happy to be free!

it was so boring"!!!!!!!

It was either her Circuit Assembly or Special Day. The District Conventions are in the summertime. As for the context of the material, I can only guess:

Preach more.

Give us your money.

No college for you.

Obey us or die.

Did you leave for more than ONE major reason ?

i hear people say they left the org.

for this or that reason.. in your case, was there more than one reason why you left ?.

i left because there was a lack of true love towards me.

I had lived my whole life--- WHOLE LIFE!--- believing this to be the TRUTH. I learned it was the Truman Show and the joke was on me and every one like me.

I had to get out after that.

Noah's preaching--"they took no note"

the bible calls noah a preacher of righteousness.

however, it gives no indication that he undertook a global campaign to warn people of a coming flood of which they 'took no note'.. in gen chap 6 god gave noah very detailed instructions about building the ark.

in 6:18 and 7:1 he gave specific instructions about who to take into the ark.

A desperate time for JW as realisation inevitable dawns .....

in time, slowly and inevitably, a lot of jws will realise that they have been conned.

they may deny it at first but eventually a substantial amount will discover that they have lost their lives, their talents and their potential to of all things, a book publishing company!.

so, what will their reactions be?
