  i was trying to fade, and thought i had done so successfully for the past 18months.. i have just received a call from my dad saying it will be announced tomorrow that i have been disfellowshipped... can they do this???.

  2005 Barbecue Is Definitely On!

  saturday seems to be much preferred over sunday, so this years bbq will be held on saturday, july 9th, commencing around 2 pm.

  location is our home in weston super mare.

  as usual, the day will be very boozy and proceedings will conclude in the waverley pub.

  Why did I leave after 50 yrs a JW

  i am not posting this to justify my actions, i am doing so for the benifit of any witnesses who are unsure about there feelings toward the "truth".

  i was a reguler pioneer for about 8 yrs, back when it was 100 hours a month, befor thet i did a couple of yrs as a vacation pioneer, they later changed the name to auxilery pioneer, and during the following 20 yrs i had a few intermitant spells as an auxilery when i had time to.

  during my pioneer years i have given talks at circuit assemblies and had assignments at district assemblies .

  It was interesting to read your story. Having been bought up a JW myself I agreed with many of your points. As I am sure many on here will.

  i went to take my daughter to school today and right at the end of her line was a jw with her child.

  seeing as i had to take my child to her line, i had to stand very close to her.

  i seen her out of the corner of my eye looking at me.

  They do this because apparently...its supposed to help you come to your senses and return to the fold! Its a loving provision, dont you forget that!

  Are you feeling the urge to return?

  As one who is currently going through the whole shunning experience, its strengthening my resolve to keep walking...in the other direction!

  Steaming Angry - Forced to explain Shunning to my 5year old daughter!!!

  i am absolutely hopping mad angry!!!!.

  to those of you who know me, you are aware that i have been fading for over a year now.

  i have a daughter who is 5 and a son who is 2 y. in brief iast year i separated from my husband, left the organisation, met someone else and am now expecting with my new partner.. well i have had the usual ups and downs with my jw family.

  WANNA ... glad you came back and read my reply HANNA - Great to hear from you again hanna. I have sat her down and spoken to her in a simple terms as possible. She is now making mention of other relatives who we are not witnesses, and has expressed a desire to see them. I think this is the next step forward, building bridges with those ones so that she does continue to have family ties, which are important. Chok

  Although I have been fading for a year and have read a couple of books. You have inspired me to keep up my research to strengthen my reasons for not going back;as my family often pass comments to try and encourage me.
