NEWS: I am publicly reproved over UN situation.
by badwillie inmy wife and i met with 3 elders for a "judicial hearing".. our crime: simply put, was talking.
i showed a friend the un website where the wts was listed as an ngo which then led to a 2 hour discussion of various doubts that we both have had.
my wife also showed a friend the un thing but also discussed with her a first hand account of a pedophile cover-up that we knew about in our former congregation.

the general on newly arriving wanted nothing to do with dissidents saying he had fought all the wars he wanted to.

Bill, those of us who spoke out against the wickedness of the WTS's treatment of children and the lies that they hid behind, have been vilified, and demonized by the Society. The Watchtower Society has no regard for women and children, nor the good men who want to protect them. Thier agenda does not allow for it. Sexual abuse in the Watchtower Organization, in my opinion is unlike that of sexual abuse in many of the other religions that have dealt with this problem. And the reason is very simple. The Watchtower Society is a religious organization that does not have a paid hired clergy, educated from the outside, in seminaries. Instead, the leaders are "home grown" for the most part from families that are already Jehovah's Witnesses. OR, the leadership who have come from the outside, "marry in the lord" and produce generational leadership from within. What I am saying Bill is the unlike most religions with the problem of molestation in their clergy, the Watchtower Society, is rotten to the core. It's brand of sexual abuse is very much, Generational Incestuous in nature, and it is for this reason that people like you and others of us who spoke out against our incestuous leaders who want to hide their dirty little secret among themselves, and thier enabling JW family members, and congregation members, we have been ostricized as "apostates". In reality, we cried rape and they didn't want to hear it or let anyone else hear it, because their are a lot of elders, who are using thier positions to cover and hide the incest that is in the family. Incest is the issue here. Most all of the victims I am aware of have been victimized by family members in leadership position, or silenced by incestuous other witnesses who have passed this plaque generationally, NOT Genetically,. How, through learned behavior, secrecy, and imposed silence, enabled by co-dependant JW relatives, who themselves are "members in good standing" such as pioneers, ministerial servants, elders, CO's and DO's, and elder' wives, Bethelites. Most of whom are generational witnesses rather than newly converted. And even newly converted ones who bring thier disfunctional issues into the organization potentially spread the issue of sexual abuse over and over again among thier JW families intermarrying families who also hide sexual abuse, spousal abuse, physical and emotional abuse. Now, what is very scary about all this is the fact that it is nurtured and propogated by the Dogma of the Watchtower Society. Just take any picture from thier numerous publications of "beasts with teeth, and blood dripping out" or pictures of people being "destroyed" under toppling buildings, burning buildings, women holding lifeless children in the midst of all this while picutures of "smiling Jehovah" Witnesses" rejoicing over the carnage. Is it any wonder that sublimianlly the message of worthlessness of human life, especially children and women is conveyed?? Like the Rapist, the Pedophile, the Incestuous Perpetrator, the Watchtower Society has the same MO. The Power, the Ability to render feelings of Helpessness, Worthlessness,through Fear,Shame, Blame, and Abandonment. That is the MO of an Incestuous Sexual Molester. And that is what the difference is between the Watchtower Organizaiton brand of sexual molestation and it's attitude, in contrast to most other religions that experience sexual abuse. Yes there is the problem of sexual abuse in all religion. But a closed religous community run by families is a breeding ground for sexual abuse of the most hideous kind. Incestual sexual abuse. And this is the reason why the Organiztion will never carry the good "Flag" because it is too far gone at the core. And so those of us who's conscience could never allow such loyalty to these individuals claiming Divine direction, whilst covering such hideous behavior in the name of their god, will continue to be fought against, lied about and vilified to the Rank and File Witnesses not to protect the name of Jehovah, but to protect thier own names.

Hi All, I am not really up on the evidence, or non evidence regarding Russell being a FreeMason and it's link to the WTS, however, I am aware that the Society had purchased an old Masonic Temple in Paterson New Jersey some years ago, and the local Witnesses were involved in restoring it. I am not clear whether or not they still use it or own it, does anyone know of this?

Hi Ranchette, My heart is going out to you because I know the feeling of those we love and care about have treated us as if we are thier worst enemy and actually worthy of destruction. Your mom is not rational and I totally agree with what Seeker spoke of regarding the book 1984. I read that book twice as a youth and remember how ublievable it all seemed that the world could be that way. To actually see those mind controlling concepts in play here with the members of this awful religous cult is just so troubling to me to think I never saw this when I was in it. What was I thinking, or for that matter not thinking. Thank God I am not bound by it anymore. You will continue to heal Ranchette, and as you do you will be less inclined to want to allow yourself to become engaged by your mother's "invitations" to lure you back into her control and the control of the group. She is perpetrating you in very subtle ways everytime you invite her to "see the light" of what you now see. As you heal you will be able to avoid her "invitations" in the mail to emotionally and spiritually harm you. Ranchette you are not the bad girl she wants you to be in your own eyes. That is her fantasy. Her issue, that goes beyond the WT, and originates with her own issues that are enmeshed with her disfunctional religous fervor. For you own sake, try not to allow her to play this out on you, because it affects you more than you realize. It makes me sad that this religion has taken all natural affection away from it's members toward thier families. Thier brand of love is more about "group approval" or "group rejection", and has little to do with her standing in the eyes of her Creator. She does not realize this for if she did, she would reject her group for becoming like the "Baylon the Great" it so condemns. Take heart Ranchette, you are over the many difficult hurdles already. Idea to attract PUBLICITY to UN story

I Think that if the UN realized just how much the WTS's view of non-believers are worthy of death, and saw pictures of the literature's depiction of buildings and churches destroyed and on fire, and people being killed with Jehovah's Witnesses looking on and smiling, it would have significant impression on the UN. Now during this time when the Taliban and religous fanatical terrorists are in the news, I think any religion with that kind of thinking, even if it is not actively acted out, would interest the UN. The teaching of intolerance to the members towards non believers, and shunning those who have left is especially a destructive way to teach the children within this religion. I think if the UN were privy to the graphic pictures of death and destruction and beasts with teeth they might view it as dangerous teaching to children, and lessons of hate. Just my opinion.

Willie, this is SO disgusting. Only recently on the news the Watchtower Society is DEMANDING freedom of speech as a Cosntitutional Right in a legal battle with a little town in Ohio. I have mentioned this before on other threads that the Watchtower does noes not live up to what it demands. THEY are the ones who deserve to be disfellowshipped and investigated for associating with the very entity, the UN, for whom they openly say is deserving of DEATH. Just how dare any elder treat another human in such an unchristian, unconstitutional way.
