Yes, this place has overall been a "Safe haven" for me, and I enjoy being around Y'all, I can spend hours here without even realizing it. Thank you so much Simon, for giving us such a wonderful Place!!!

What Ramifications would there be if The WBTS went out.....

there are those who have spent their entire lives in the org.
and many of these are elderly, and basically have only the org.

There are those who have spent their entire lives in the Org. and many of these are elderly, and basically have only the Org. to fall back on. It is the only thing they have known. What would happen to them? What would be the outcome of 6 million followers set free in a "World" that they know nothing about? Would there be enough therapists to accomodate such a number who would need emotional help? Do you think some of them could become violent, and become "Postal" knowing that everything that they have lived for, breathed for, slaved for, and hoped for all their lives is now gone. How chaotic would it really be???

Put on your copywriter hats...it's ad time!!

obviously, no one can force someone to think, but sometimes a thought-provoking question can get the gears turning.
so i hit upon this idea of placing ads in a weekly newspaper here in seattle.

Wonder how much it would be if a bunch of people chipped in to run a few well thought out ads in a huge, widely read paper, such as the New York Times??? Or call some of the Major papers to run an Expose' on some of the things that are going on in the Org.

RIP 1934 -2004
by ScoobySnax inafter a relatively short battle (5 weeks) my great aunt died this am at 02:30. of course she'd been ill much longer, losing weight, but she hated visiting doctors, and never wanted to make a fuss.
i saw her on tuesday, and felt embarrased to stand at her bed as she looked so bad after what the cancer had done to her, reduced her to someone i hardly recognised.
what happened to that glamorous woman of not so many years ago, immaculate in every way?

We have a new baby!

he's 9 weeks old, looks just like our dear departed dexter's baby pictures, and doesn't take any guff off ladybug.
after the initial shock of a wee thing following her everywhere, miss lady is starting to enjoy having a dog around who will actually play with her (dexter was very old when we got ladybug, and he was more inclined to growl and snap at her than play).

Fisticuffs Sounds like a nice Kinky word, and was getting excited for a moment, but, alas, does not imply what I thought it would! Had to look it up in the dictionary, and yes there was one when I was a kid. This other young Brother and I never really got along, and one day we duked it out in the parking lot. We had to talk to the elders about it, and apologize to each other.
