Nephilim penis size?
The size 26 sandals may have been an indication...
in the very early days of my explaining to certain witnesses my doubts, i kind of ran through all of them.
they probobly merged into one big hodge-podge of apostate doubting nonsense.
- the nephilim penis size, the animals in the ark, the she bears killing the kids, davids baby being killed by god for his adultery, jesus sacrifice not really being a sacrifice, the torture of jw's in the camps, appointment of elders, the changing doctrines.........but more than a few elders/rank & file witnesses told me that i "think about stuff too much".

Hey everyone, this sounds like a neat idea!
ringo starr would like to celebrate his 69th birthday by promoting peace on love.

Thanks for the info! The world especially nowadays needs all the peace and love it can get. I will set my calendar so I will say peace and love to whomever I am near.

That is so sad. He was a great comedian. No frills, and told it like it was.
will the election of a black man as president of the us help to diminish racism or will it sharpen the divide?

i've gone to many a witness dinner where i would bring one or two nice wines, hoping we would have some with dinner.
{to numb the boring conversations} only, to find the couple say "thanks" put it in the cabnet....and serve up lemonade..... and it's not an alcohol thing....two different brothers brought out there own "home made" vino instead, which taste like a mixture of fruit punch and vineger!
.
Yes, they should have shared the wine! If someone brings me wine, it gets opened, and served. If it were more than one bottle, I would have asked the person who bought it which one they would like opened first.
two different Brothers brought out there own "home made" vino instead, which taste like a mixture of fruit punch and vineger! I don't want to know how it was made!
That makes me think of the I love Lucy episode where Lucy is in Italy stomping grapes! That is a classic!
Maybe those "Brothers" made homemade bathtub wine, stomping the grapes with their feet, after a long day of knocking on doors. That might explain the vinegary taste.LOL
it's late and i can't sleep.
i've been around the dial a dozen times, there's nothing to watch.
according to the thermometer in my car, it was 123 degrees in palm desert today about 5 p.m. of course, palm desert has miles of concrete, makes it a little hotter than other places.
I too love being out in the middle of nowhere, seeing the stars at night. One of the darkest, most brilliant nights was in Northern Wisconsin, hours away from any city. It was pitch black. There were so many stars, I have never seen so many. There was also a small meteor shower. It was a veritable cosmic wonderland! I only wish I would have had my telescope, I would have been in for a real treat!
Have you ever seen the Northern Lights? The most brilliant display was when I was in Northern Manitoba back in 1984. I had gone with a brother to pick up his daughter who's car was stuck in a snowbank. It was really dark way out in the country. I happened to look up, and saw brilliant lights in pinks, greens, blues, and every color in between dancing and swirling in the sky. It scared the living bejeesus out of me, as I had never seen the Aurora before, and thought that maybe it was a nuclear attack or something. I tapped Ben on the shoulder, and told him to look up. He was amazed, and told me that they were the Northern Lights, and that he had never seen them that brilliant before! He had lived in that area his whole life, and said it was a once in a lifetime chance to see them so bright and vivid. I am thankful I was in the right place at the right time!
Neither time was I wearing my Tiara though-lol
Nature sure can provide beautiful shows of its awesomeness if we just take the time to look for it.
arrived late and left early.
breaking point was the baptismal talk.
about 40 were getting baptized.
Id better get there early for decent parking cuz everybody shows up for the "DRAMA". lol.
I would say the whole Convention is a big Drama...
this week i was contacted by an old friend of mine who was recently disfellowshipped.
i encouraged her to check out jwd for support, advice and friendship.
she had a brief look but said it wasn't really for her, she would rather just "move on and have fun!".
Yes, I do believe in a middle ground! Some of us just enjoy the camraderie and comfort of being around those who have been through some of the exact same things that we have. A common bond if you will...
do you have any recomendations on places to visit?.
- preston.
Thanks Ohiocowboy, and BTW I enjoyed meeting you in Dallas back in '06!
Same here! Even though it was pouring rain, and we all got lost! You have to come to the next fest we have here!
I also used to enjoy going to Lexington every now and then, it is a clean city, and there are some neat cafe's, shops and restaurants. I don't know when you are going, but the world's longest yard sale goes through Kentucky Aug. 7-10 on Hwy 127. There are some scenic areas, and there are literally thousands of yard sale vendors set up along there. Every time I go, I only make it half way through Kentucky, even though it starts in Ohio and continues to Alabama. Last year, I paid for my whole trip when I got back home by reselling some of the things I bought there!
