Unfortunately, I gave the correct time during my last year as a reg. Pioneer. I ended up being 6 hours short for the year, and the elders made such a big deal about it-seems the other 994 hours didn't mean anything, but those 6 hours, all heck broke loose!!!

More UFO Boldness
by metatron ini have not seen any attempted 'debunking' of this shocking incident - or the belgian triangle many years ago.. the recent incident involving the mexican air force showed publically how contrary explanations are failing, as various.
'experts' suggested ball lightning, weather balloons, and anything else they could think of.
much the same happened.

Yes, that is very interesting. It makes one wonder about how far we have advanced Technologically in the past 50 years or so. Could it be that we have been receiving outside help? Yes, mankind is brilliant-(For the most part), but some of the things that have been invented make one think," now how on earth could they have thought of that", maybe it wasn't we on earth that thought of it!!!

although still sad at times, she is determined to finish high school (this is her senior year) and go on to college.
(carl, her x-boyfriend, is a hs drop out and aspires to get a job at guitar center and eventually get certified for smog inspecting automobiles.

So, in other words, with all the above comments and definitions of Sociopath, should not the title of the thread be:
Is it possible for the WBTS to change???
Methinks they are the biggest bunch of Megalomaniacal Sociopaths around!!!

Does anybody remember Good old brother Woodly?
by truthbeliever indear brothers and sisters,i have read several posts here regarding william osbeck and how bad of a circuit overseer he was.at the time when he was a circuit overseer in oklahoma,we had a district overseer named brother elmer woodly.he was the most unfriendly overseer i have ever worked with.he was mighty on the stage in his speeches, but when he came down from there he was a mean, cold shouldered person.he was not as rude as brother dixon, another circuit overseer, but i guess i expected more from a district overseer.does anybody else remember this jolly old soul?

What Couldn't You Do on Meeting Nights?
by Nosferatu init's funny how new rules were made in the house that applied to meeting nights only.
one major one was no video games before the meeting.
my mother also tried to extinguish worldly music before meetings.

A little of topic-Sorry, but the Social Security Death Records have been a great resource for me. Being disowned by my parents, and not having communication with them for years, all I have to do is type in my last name-Ronto-yes I know weird last name, but....Anyways, I was able to find out that my Father died several years ago, and have been able to find out that way those that have died in my family, since I get no calls from my family in the org. letting me know when someone has died. By the way-no Jehovah's in my family-Awww Shucks!!!

We usually didn't eat dinner before the meetings, as we would usually go out for pizza with others from the cong. after the meeting, which seemed to make the meetings go slower, and time would drag, because I couldn't wait to eat. I always had to prepare for the meetings, and would crank my Victrola, and listen to classical 78's while doing so.

No, but I do remember a brother Woody. Whenever he would get up on stage, he would stand very erect, and when he would get overly excited about something he was saying, he had a tendency to Spit. He was very hard on the Brothers and Sisters....
