Ian I noticed you "sent the Rules to Claire and didn't wait till she got home to read them to her or give them to her wuz you being a brave little coward or sumthin??
This is so cute A MANS LESSON
Dear Diary,
Remember during our first pregnancy we decided that whether the Good Lord blessed us with a boy or girl didn't matter, that the real important factor was that the thing be human and take after my side of the family? Well, we welcomed a wrinkled, pink and pudgy little girl to our family and I was ecstatic. You see, I had written a list of benefits to having either a boy or a girl, and actually, the benefits to having a girl far outnumbered the boys'.
I looked at it like this; I'm a guy. I do guy things. I think like a guy, I act like a guy and I feel like a guy. If I had a son that would be wonderful, but would my consciousness expand, would I gain new knowledge or understanding, would the guy in me grow? Whereas, if I had a girl, well, I could see how they do it from the beginning. I could come to understand girl things, girl traits, girl stuff. Yeah, I thought that raising a girl would help me to understand women.
Which brings me to this morning some three years later, when as usual, my daughter and I are brushing our teeth together. We are standing quietly in front of the sink, looking into each others eyes in the reflection of the mirror. My mouth full of toothpaste as I cherish the moment, and her, scrubbing her little white teeth with a Tweety bird toothbrush. When in the calm, loving morning with the orange sun shining through the window, she takes her brush out of her mouth and in her tiny voice asks,
"Whatcha thinkin' about?"
Well, the toothpaste shot out of my mouth and sprayed all over the mirror as I choked. I must have missed something.
She was normal when she went to sleep but she woke up different. She woke up and asked the classic question. The question that no matter how a man tries to prepare himself he always fumbles with the answer. 'Whatcha thinkin' about?' Not only did she ask the classic question, but she asked it at the perfect moment. A moment of overwhelming emotion!
With that one question she joined the sisterhood. The members are her mother, her aunts, her grandmothers, all the girls I had ever been with (both of them) and women everywhere. 'Whatcha thinkin' about?' My daughter is evolving into a girl and I am still as stupid as a stump. No keen insights, trade secrets or expanded consciousness for me, just a house full of girls (we had another) that will grow into women whether I understand or not. Doubled over with laughter, toothpaste all over the place, trying to catch my breath I gave the classic guy response,
"Nothin', honey."-*"*-.,,.-*"*-.,,.-*"*-.,,.-*"*-.,-*"*-.,,.-*"*-

Holiday Greetings
by searcher inplease accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practised within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all .
and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make the eu great (not to imply that the eu is necessarily greater than any other region), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or choice of computer platform.. .
by accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms.

I'll never know how to be politically correct, Wal-Mart in our area workjers no longer say "have a Merry Christmas" or even" Happy Holidays", which they used to require their checkers <clerks that check you out when the purchase is made) and neither the door greeters <> one of the few icons left from Sam Walton's days as W-M owner) . SO to PULL in people who are offended by this a rival store has a big 'ole sign up in front of their store. sign has written on it We still say Merry Christmas
another thing I notice a lot of in yards are signs that have the words "Christmas is a Birthday"
Feliz Navidad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GsfJzbI1O0&feature=related Jose Faliciano singing Feliz Navidad on this greeting.

I never planned to get a tattoo, nor am I now planning any. Once you get one, it is irreversible and there is no guarantee that it will have the effect that you think it will on the opposite sex (it might even make existing problems even worse). They are extremely difficult to impossible to get rid of if you later change your mind about it.
I just wanted to add: I spent a lot of time thinking about the choice etc. But I didn't get mine to influence the opposite sex in any way! well okay maybe I thought the boob one would be a surprise but it was not a consideration at the time.
it's like the old saying," I object to everything your bumper sticker says! But I stand behind you and your right to stick it!" to each his own as long as there is no harm.

Thanks Babygirl, I spent a long time searching for thee one tattoo I could live with, as has been mentioned I didn't want a tat that I would later regret, since I love ankle bracelets and I am Native American this choice seemed to be the one for me, I have a heart of the same leaf/rose/vine over my heart just no pic. That pic was taken a few days after I got the tat, I wanna get the feather filled in or at least touched up with white. The artist that gave me the tattoo at my request signed his work, the inside of the rose bud in the green part* is his intials.

I agree ...
I'll be done unless the urge hits me again!
Believe me it will
Whats up with that? wanting to be tattoed after we are happy with the ones we have?
I hope I never regret my tats, one thing I have noticed about people that don't like theres "later on" it's usually tied to something the person is into in life at the time, albeit a person ie.. a name of a "love" that years from now is no longer the love of there life and the current love hates the reminder, and reminds the tated one they don't have their name tatted on them anywhere!! heck I've known people if they got all their "mr.right nows tatted on them they would look like santas whos who on the naughty and nice list.
I begged for a tattoo when I discovered my oldest brothers when I was a kid. so mine was the result of rebellion to the borg. / always wanting one/ and mid-life crisis. everything hit me at 38 to 40 yrs of age.

I am such an Adam Sandler fan he is the coolest < well as I deduct from watching him on talk shows, and love his movies) my son and I were just talking about how well he takes care of his own* as seen by his friends being in all his movies with him, he seems very loyal to his friends, that is coolness imo.
Happy Holidays, whatever way they effect you
