  well i wrote my first post in april.

  where a lot of you responded and were very helpful.

  i was another victim of being a non-jw dating a messed up disfellowshipped jw.

  it's been 7 months since i told my ex i had enough of him and his jw parents.

  after 5 years of him not moving on and not going back to them either, i realized i was not happy anymore and this was just draining.

  time helps i am realizing how good it feels to be free and realize i deserve so much more.

  so my ex emails me asking how i am doing and that he wrote to me a month ago he is not sure if i received it.

  he sent it to two email addresses he must know i received it!!!

  he has been emailing me asking me how i am since our break up.

  catholic church

  hi well here in massachusetts where i live they were announcing catholilc churches that would be closed, due to lack of priests, and financial difficulties due to the lawsuits.

  i was thinking about jw's and how they like this, they talk about look at the catholic church and what they do.

  i am not defending the catholic church, but used to get pissed when my ex and his parents would talk about how wrong the catholic churches and other churches are.

  i sent a post over a month ago about my failed relationship with an ex jw.

  a little refresher we dated for 5 years and although he is disfellowshipped he never moved on.

  he still lives at home with his jw parents.

  hi i was with a ex jw for 5 years, and he never attended funerals, christmas, birthdays, weddings, etc.

  i found their reasoning that it is pagan and their bible verses against birthdays to be ridiculous.

  i was bothered more with funerals.

  i was with a ex-jw for 5 years or shall i say disfellowshipped but still never moved on!

  anyways the whole time we were together no birthdays, funerals, weddings (only reception not church), thanksgiving, christmas.

  i always felt alone and like i would offend him celebrating these things.
