YAY...lookie at what I can do!!!
by devinsmom ini have been making jewelry for as long as i can remember.
for a few years i earned a living making jewelry and traveling to art shows to sell it, i even had one of those liitle carts in the mall when i was 17...ran it by myself.
i stopped making stuff for a while but i have recently restarted my business and it is taking off!

When they come I let them make their presentation and then politely tell them that I am not interested because I have my own beliefs.

A controlled zombie for 32 years

how could i give up my father & mother-how could i give up all my friends?when i look in the mirror i see an old man that is no longer young--and they still are not out of my life--they still come by and leave magazines---i dont want to be mean--but they just dont get it--after reading about the 2 books by ray franz and reading diane wilson:s book---there probably is a few more bomb shell books that will come out--maybe we havent heard anything yet--who knows whats around the corner lol..you might be in for a shock-i heard that in the hall i used to go to no longer announces the attendance--could it be a trend that will go throughout the world?
i have even heard of kingdom halls beeing sold-also in their new book- they wont be having all these investigations of the flock--they will just announce from the plat form that john doe is no longer a jehovah witness---that is better--it saves a lot of stress and nonsense--maybe the jerks are doing something that makes sense for a change--that will break my heart to say i am no longer a jehovah witness----thanks hag

I am sure there will be a lot more scandals coming out in the future and what was already revealed is only the tip of the ice berg, EG we don't know what they do with all the billions of dollars that they handle each year. They proved to be far too dishonest so as not to have a lot more dirty secrets in the pipeline.
As for leaving parents and friends remember the disgusting lie they tell people: you will find a lot more of these in the org plus eternal life, yet you find none. -

"Goodrich's 13 page letter to the Watchtower Society's board of directors and his letter to Nathan Knorr were equally direct. As a result of charging "God's organization" with "demonism," Goodrich was disfellowshipped.
However, ten years later, the Watchtower Society began printing material on the E.R.A. that made the same claims about the E.R.A. for which Goodrich had been disfellowshipped.

Internet Dating......has anybody tried it?
by JV inwell seeing as my social skills are severly limited or it's just really really hard to meet women i thought i'd get everybody's opinion on "netdating".
i think it's worth a shot, i think it gives you an opportunity to meet people that you'd never meet in the real world, well it's 2 am and i'm bored, i guess i'd better hit the sack now

It's a great help for people that feel nervous or lost when they have to meet and talk with dates face to face the first time, or few times.
You have a lot more time to think on what to say and you don't have to worry about your facial expressions and body movements being an embarassment to yourself. -

Yes and Rutherford was foolish enough in his boisterousness to railroad Goodrich in writing, castigating him according to his usual vitriolic lawyer's rhetoric, a devil inspired enemy of Jehovah's people etc, and he then had all he needed to start a legal case against the WTS.

even when i still believed in the bible as god's word, i never understood how (at least) three races came from 2 persons.
i sometimes thought, maybe adam was black and eve white, but where does the mongol race come from then?

They are more cunning than the popes because though they never actually claim to be infallible in practice they act as if they are. They never accept corrections from anyone and whenever they change a doctrine it's a matter of adding to it new ideas to develop and complete it further.

Gill it's not surprising that they would use Greber since Rutherford had a similar attitute to his. They both believed that they were receiving knowledge from angels supposedly God's angels and Greber got defrocked by the catholics for this reason. Franz and Knorr were inquiring to see if the angels told Greber anything on certain dogmatic issues and this was in the 1950's.
That most of the info Rutherford got from them turned out to be wrong proves beyond all doubt what sort of angels he was contacting. Yet he never admitted the obvious. That's why he was an out and out occultist or demon driven spiritistic medium and his bullying personality had numerous demonic streaks in it.
Many of his dogmatic ideas eg the 144000 doctrine may well have originated from the demons.
As for ouija boards Rutherford reviled and kicked someone out of the org (I think it was Goodrich) when he became too opposed to this practice, who then sued and won damages from the WTS for libel.
