  Wanna make a new friend???......

  okay...lets all get to know eachother.....im looking for new friends....so i thought this would be a great way to do such a thing.....so whatcha think???.

  i live in wash. state.....i was a jw up untill like 4 years ago......im now 16....so u do the math........i had no friends while i was a jw....so when i got out i had a rough time makeing some...now im haveing the time of my life....being "worldly" is great!!!.

  Heya rebel!! I'm also 16, never seen so many newbies (all my age) joining this forum. wow it's ace!

  Hope that we can become friends too although i live all the way across the ocean in the Uk. Lol, i can't say that i have ever really ahd much trouble in finding friends because i have never mixed with anyone but 'wordly' kids. The kids in the congregation near me are about half my mental age and boring as sin.

  I know!! I hope that i never have to see the man again. Even his wife stood by him after he had pleaded guilty. All this talk of rape, abuse and terrorism is strarting to scare the hell out of me. What is this world coming to??

  Tschhh.... how bad is that?? Can't belive that somebodys father would do that. makes me sick .

  My friend in my congrgation was sexually abused by an elder who is now in prison. the only difference is that he never actually admitted it, pleaded guilty but said it was because he didn't want her to go to court at such a young age. The worse thing is... some people actually believe his innocence.

  during the last few years, i've progressively observed a phenomenon which i hadn't really seen before in my jw mother.

  lately she's been talking about her will, about wanting to get long term care insurance for herself and my dad so they won't be a burden on us kids.... it's like she knows she's going to eventually die in "this system.

  " what happened to armageddon's right around the corner??.

  Yeah, but i reckon that secretly in their hearts they are not gonna survive until the 'so-called' armagedon gets here.That's why they plan in advance.If only they could realise the truth??

  yesterday was the wedding.

  all five of my siblings and their spouses and children, my mom and dad and their spouses, even my three daughters were invited.

  but not i. she is the only one who is jw.. they sent the invitation to the girls in their name only to my address.

  Aww...that almost brought a tear to my eye I guess i just can't imagine not being part of either of my brothers weddings.I think that you did the right thing by going and i'm proud of you even if she isn't. You showed that you were the better person turning up there and one day she is gonna realise what a big, BIG mistake she made.

  i'm new to the forums so i just wanted to say hi.

  kind of nervous at the moment.. i'm one of the jehovah's witness kids that is looking for the whole truth.

  i go to the meetings and have my own problems with the organization but i do believe in alot of it's beliefs.. since i got that out the way i wanted to see what other people think about the newer jehovah's witness teens.
