There will have to be some thinking JW's out there who will wonder about the logic of all of this. Sell one building with 1 million sq ft of space and then build another 4 buildings? Why? So the Bethelites won't have to walk as far to the now empty factory buildings? This is really strange.

I was born into the borg so I would have to say that I would rather have learned about it as an adult. It just feels like I have lived at 27 year sentence in a prison. The crime was apparently being born to the wrong family who believed some screwed up things. I can't imagine it being more difficult for a person who finds "the truth" than it is for a person who is found by "the truth" at birth. Learning about something as an adult and making a decision about it is far better than being taught something from birth. I guess it's kind of like learning a new language. If at birth you are taught english and that is the only language you know and then you have to learn chinese, it will be much more difficult for a person who has never spoken any other language. Whereas a person who spoke chinese a long time ago could learn it again much easier. So I would definitely prefer to have learned about the Borg as an adult. So I could get back 27 years of my life.

well, i got dragged, kicking and screaming talked in to going to the assembly yesterday as a friend of mine was in the drama.
what a freaking waste of time interesting experience.
first of all, i had a tough time squeezing my larger than life ass bum into a seat that looked like it was made for a house-elf small child.
Funny stuff. I didn't go. Thank goodness for your post, now i'm up to date on the latest "new light." And if it weren't for this apostate website I would have missed out on that new light.

i was reading the july wt.
at my mother's yesterday and the qfr asked about who should and shouldn't be viewed as an "unbeliever".
if a person was attending meetings and might even be an "unbaptized publisher" they should not be considered an "unbeliever".
The way they are defining exactly who an unbeliever is demonstrates one more level of control that the borg is trying to exert over the r&f. Heaven forbid some poor believer be called an unbeliever. It's all so stupid.

i have been calling my kids for some time now.
i am moving far away soon, and since i haven't had any contact with my daughters, i called them to let them know i was moving, and would like to say goodbye, before i flew away.
weeks went by, as ususal, and no response.

the watchtower can't establish clear evidence that birthdays , as a natural event, are part of 'false' religion.. so, they try to associate them with negative events in the bible and condemn them thereby.. the trouble with this reasoning is that it is foolish to condemn any practise arbitrarily simply because someone can.
find something negative correlated with it in bible events.
( how about chronology and false prophecy?).
