remember getting out of bed saturday morning, silently cussing to yourself because you really had no desire to go out in service?
especially on a saturday, when you would prefer to sleep in or just bum around?
or even go to a yard sale?
Great. Now I will have THAT song in my head the remainder of the day.

for an oldie i'd pick audrey hepburn singing moon river ... mmnnnn, i never get tired of that.. currently i'm listening to norah jones an aweful lot.
she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?
I like men's voices to be very strong and powerful, like James Earl Jones'.

Loreena McKennitt is my favorite. I wouldn't necessarily say she makes me "melt", but her voice is beautiful and soothing.
Probably an NPR commentator.
put your hand on your hips.

I remember a CO who told a brother he disapproved of his career. The brother was a fireman. All I could think of was: "at least he works for a living!!!"
I also remember an elder in my congregation who disapproved of gum chewing during the meeting. Okkkayyy....I just let you smell my morning breath.
My MS ex-husband was a narrow-minded, opinionated, racist (although he never admitted it). I recall how he reacted when a young, white brother was helping out a black sister by holding her baby. My ex-husband took the brother aside and told him "this looks odd. People might think something sexual is going on between you and this baby. Maybe you sould give it back to it's mother".
