You no longer need to be a JW to get into the New System..???
by OUTLAW inwhen i lived farther up country..i had a car load of dub ladys come to the ranch..i told them they supported an organization that would kill everyone but jw`s.thats what i was taught when i was a kid..they said "no",that decision will be made at armageddon..??
?..i figuered "theocratic warefare stratagey"..they were lying to me!.....i talked to my mom a few years later and made the same comment..she said "no,that decision will be made at armageddon.??
?.this is the person that taught that doctrine to me.i just rolled my eyes.more "theocratic warefare stratagey".that woman woud lie in a heart beat for the wbt$.....yesterday the subject came up on a thread and hillary_step said the comment is true.....hillary and i have been friends for years,he totally blew me away..i could`nt believe what i was reading..he said the change had been made in the "90`s".....so now i have some questions for those who are more up to date on this subject than i..hillary_step,if your kick`n around please chime in.......#1:when did the wbt$ decied to quit preaching only the jw`s would get into the new system?..#2if you no longer need to be a jw to get into the new system,why bother?..#3:dieing at armageddon because your not a jw,was a gun to your head to join the jw`s.what do they use now?.....this isn`t the same religion i walked away from decades ago..this,the un scandel,the generation change,blood factions now acceptable..the wbt$ is morphing before our eyes and jw`s dont see it..lol!

by karnage ini was thinking... does the members of the governing body participate in field service?
if these are men who are to take their place in heaven with jesus christ, then shouldn't they be the ones fearlessly leading the charge?

Did You Feel "Good" When You Were Being Persecuted?
by minimus ini know that as a youngster, i felt pretty good about myself because i remained "faithful" and didn't eat birthday cake while everyone else was enjoying it.......i know of wives that came into the hall with a black eye "for jehovah" and were almost deified because of their "stand".

We had two in our congregation who partook of the emblems some years back. One was a tyrant elder, whos wife hardly ever made meetings. The only time she'd come is if there was nothing better on TV. The other "partaker" was a middle aged woman who doesn't go anymore. Blame her partaking on menopause. Nevertheless SHE, (not the tyrant "elder") was counseled from the podium by one of the other congregation tyrants AT THE MEMORIAL. He was all but telling her from the stage why she should not partake. What a laughing stock he made out of her. It was not long after she stopped going, which was a GOOD thing.
This new light on not judging partakers is just more watchtower bullshit. "Elders" will do WHATEVER the hell they want to.

Why don't apologists talk to each other?
by Paralipomenon inin the time i've been reading these forums i've seen a few apologists posting on threads, but what i've never seen was them interacting with each other.
is it the same person with multiple logins, or is there some sort of code of honor that prevents them from agreeing with each other.
is it like seeing another witness in a porno store?

Glass Clinking Still from Satan per latest QFR
by Open mind inmy wife and i have for many years thought that glass clinking was soon going to go the way of wind chimes and pinatas.
we were both blown away by the recent "questions from readers" saying that toasting is still the work of the devil and not for christians.. i even had an elder in my hall admit the logic didn't really hold up.
anyway, i thought it was definitely "food at the proper time" .

If you've ever been to a dub wedding, it's amazing how they go out of their way to announce no rice throwing, no toasting, no clanging of glasses. They usually do it at the k hall, as well as the reception hall. They're a bunch of mid controling quacks.
