I hate the price of eating out. Try it with four kids...we spend a ton on eating out and rarely do it. To go to Denny's is $40 for all of us. When the kids are older it will probably double. They are currently eating off the kids' menu. Paying $100 for a plate much less $1,000. That is just insane. Even if I were very wealthy that is just a wasteful amount of money to pay for one meal....how many families could that feed for a week? Quite a few. I just am shocked that it is on the menu...not suprised no one has tried it yet.

What to do now?
by SuperMommy inon thursday i did quit my jw studies...now for a problem i had not thought of.
many people in the kh have been asking my husband to do odd jobs around their homes.
he has been doing this for a month for maybe a bit longer.

Yes, I do Yahoo....flsupermommy...I have been in the religion forum a few times...ussually get overwhelmed chatting. The kids need too much attention for me to sit at one time and chat for more than a few minutes.

Fleas....
by Country Girl insummer is now here, and there are *fleas* in my carpet!
i de-flead the cats, but it appears it was too late.
any non-toxic ways to de-flea the carpet?

We put frontline on the dogs and cured our flea problem in a couple of days...nothing works better. I never have put anything in the carpet or furniture. We are flea free. I do spray the lawn once a week with Cutter to keep down the mosquitoes, ants and fleas

when he first began dating her i sat them both down and made sure carl understood that he was visiting the home of a df?d brother who also be considered by the society to be an apostate.
i gave him this direct info not wanting to encroach upon his conscience incase he was maintaining a good one, and incase he was looking to make progress in the jw congregation.

On thursday I did quit my JW studies...now for a problem I had not thought of. Many people in the KH have been asking my husband to do odd jobs around their homes. He has been doing this for a month for maybe a bit longer. The day after I stop my studies a call coming from a "brother" asks my husband to do some work for him. While there the elder comes by and talks with my husband for a bit. Now, Carey, my husband, is feeling very uncomfortable. He has asked me to call and explain myself again to them...which I don't feel I need to do. So, even though I have no been studying for long our lives are being effected by this. I told my husband many of my conserns. A few things I have read on these posts have helped him . He is beginning to see the cracks in this group of people. I am exhausted by the whole thing. I was really wishing this would just dissappear since I had not been baptized or been involved for very long.

No only is it not a loving practice, but it not a just one. There is no justice in putting out a friend because of a mistake. Forgiveness is a much more loving reaction.

Elder Gives Talk About "Unbelievers" & "Unbeliever" Calls Him An "Asshole"
by minimus inthe husband of a sister attended the public talk and the visiting elder came down hard on "unbelievers" and "worldly" people.
he spoke about how miserable it is for faithful sisters to be married to such "worldly unbelievers" because they cannot share the same spiritual goals.
this man recently had started to attend some meetings because his wife pretty much begged him to.
