Homeschooling?
by mkr32208 inthis is a pet peeve of mine!
how in the heck can the school board justify turning the education of anyone over to some jacka$$ that dropped out of school to pioneer and makes their living cleaning toilets!
how can any parent that truely loves their kid not take a good long look at themselves and say "i am not the best teacher for this child.

i finally realized the other day that i was completly out, i think for the first time i really had evidence that i was out.
i was at a witness get together (wife still in so i'm allowed to tag along...) and a witness i didn't know from kentucky or tennessee or somewhere was talking to me and using the "terminalogy" and something i said must have cued him because he said "are you a jehovah's witness?

Religion? Or twilight zone episode?
by mkr32208 inmy grandmother on my mothers side has cancer and is getting ready to undergo chemo again.
when the family got together for thanksgiving this year i had a discussion with my aunt about her view of life after death, it was a little odd.
well more than a little so i thought i'd post it to see what you guys thought.

do any of you have the matrix wish i could just forget all this attitude sometimes?
me and the wife were fightitng again and she asked why i can't just go back and pretend or just forget all this... she said as an athnostic you either don't belive in god or don't believe that god cares so why can't you just go and fake it... i was dumbfounded i ask her why can't you just get the f*ck out and stop faking it... she stormed out and i sat down here..... so i ask ya, if you could forget all the negatives about the wbts (i know thats a lot) and just go back like nothing had ever happened would you?

If the WBTS morphs into a main stream religion which belifs will the keep?
by mkr32208 ini really don't thing the witlesses are going away.
too many people have invested too much time... i take that back i dont' think they are going away anytime soon... however if they plan to stick around they must change soon so what beliefs will be jettisoned this week as the light grows brighter and what beliefs will they keep (and why).
1st obviously is that the gb is only one step (small step) below god and at least equal if now one step above jesus.

Brownboy has left us!
by mkr32208 ini went back and read some of his old post i dont' think he will be missed... didn't he promise to leave back in april?.
i think we should have a pool as to when he'll be back!
i for one plan to begin to scour the book of revelations tonight to try to pic my date!.

Honest in little, Dishonest in much?
by mkr32208 inok first off i dont' want this to be a wbts slam session there's plenty of those already this is about individual witlesses!.
i was talking to a friend who is a business owner (hotel industry) he isn't a witness he doesn't know i used to be a witness.
i just casually asked him about all the watchtower and awake's in the magazine rack.

Watchtower and UN
by mkr32208 ini've read most of the topics on this (not all yet there are a lot!
) and tried to follow the links to the un site the message i got was that all the links were outdated.
i went on the un.org site and tried to find this info fom that end, i found the list of ngo's but "watchtower bible and blah blah whatever" wasn't on there!
