  I have decided to sit down and talk with a JW any advice?

  i know i just made one post, but i have another.. after the conversation with my bf tonight, i finally gave in and said i would sit down with a jw.

  i don't beleive the bs for one moment.

  i don't see the point in doing this, but if it will make my bf happy i'm willing to do it.

  I didnt realize it was in that book, I do know its also in a WT cos I read it myself a few months ago. I think that was in `86 too

  Ask who their mediator is. They will say Jesus, but even in their own publications they say he is NOT.

  That privilage is only for the 144,000. Jehovah was once described as our "grandfather" im sorry icant remember which WT. Maybe even your boyfriend wont know that one !!!!!!! I didnt think about it and id been in the org for 20 years!

  seeing this is the 5th anniversary of jwd, i was curious as to how many who still post here, were dyed in the wool jws, but later sucumbed to "the truth about the truth" .

  were an active/semi-active jw, and this site and others were enough to convince you that your doubts had substance.

  I was absolutley IN and very active Although depressed and stressed with my unwilling son and husband. They had been mentally out for a couple of years.

  I did have doubts but though I was weak and critical

  When I found this site everything made sense, now we are OUT

  my mother has a problem of getting these at her hall ( although she has been attending for over 50+ years) it seems the brothers just over look her ( so much love you know) .

  I would really like a KM each month, so that I can keep up with whats been said.

  Would it be possible for someone to make a regular scann of the latest KM??

  Blondies studies on the WT really help me each week as im fading so dont get my mags, but i need them cos my daughter sometimes want to dicuss the meetings ARRRRRRR

  i am just giggling myself inside out with the stupid antics regarding the march 20 release of the new org book.. of course, in great irony, only the apostates seem to know what's going on.. meanwhile in the congregations, a excitment tinged with mystery and suspense is tweaking the r&f.

  my entire book study was just about begging the conductor for any hint.. to emphasize the surprise, congregations that meet on saturday (march 19) are actually moving their public/wt meetings to sunday just for the event.

  just imagine the drool letdown when they find out the truth, that old br.

  i went to see her on a whim.

  i'd been trying to reach her for years.

  Even though some ppl are out of the org for years. there is a superstition, that if you speak against the org you are sinning against the spirit , which is unforgivable.

  They dont want to go back in, but feel it is still the truth and that they must encourage you!!

  I had experience of this myself.

  They are always waiting for armaggeddon and their execution. Very sad.

  we just got our memorial invite today.

  along with that the brother again encouraged hubby and i to attend the meeting tomorrow.

  no menion of the big announcement or anything.

  Weve been invited to the special talk, the brother also said there would be a surprise.....ohhhhhh

  He also invited us to the memorial. We have not been for nearly a year, we dont want to start anything up , so we thought we could go to another cong outside our territory, then if anything is said we can still say we went. If we dont go, im afraid we may get a shepherding call and i dont want that.

  Its a real test, i feel if you dont go, its like a statement that youve turned your back on the org, in my case i dont want any confrontation ...yet.

  And I want that book!!!!!!!!!
