well, my life is about to change over the next week, the anxiety is running high, and the adrenaline is going full blast, i hope i make it .... just a reminder of what has happened ... last summer my wife went to ontario and stayed with her sister, at the time me and her were not doing to well, and while she was there she screwed around on me, and her sister laughed about it.

it's been 11 months, i've did the counselling, and i've tried to forgive her, but i'll tell you all something ...... "it just eats at you everyday, no matter how hard you try.".

so i arrive on saturday, and day 1 will be taking care of this guy, i just hope i don't k--l him and spend the rest of my life in jail.

i wanted to share this recent incident and it really pi$$es me off.

i called my grandfather yesterday who is a believing but inactive jw due to health reasons.

he is 83 and in very poor health and is alone since his wife died 3 years ago.

They talk the the talk, but dont walk the walk

They constantly talk about love, in the mags and on the platform, but it never happens in reality.

one example (I know of loads more) There was a lone sister who was terribly depressed, and struggling financially. She asked the elders for some help doing her garden and some jobs round the house. He said no, the brothers are far too busy!

Which in fact they are, my husband was a servant for a few years, and with all the assiments he had and a full time job we hardly had time as a family, never mind looking after our own house and garden, if the FS and meetings where cut down and more emphasise were given to helping those in the congregation with physical help everyone would have more time AND the love would grow, err maybe not.!

I was as guilty as the next person, FS was the priority. Shame on me!

I really think it is time for the WT to be accountable for its doctrines that involve children. This would be a fantastic opportunity to show massive support to you and for otherss who have been caught in the trap. I was shocked that only THREE ppl turned up in the Canada protest. We have so many topics on this board asking how we can expose the WT or how to bring it down. This is good way to start, ordinary ppl need to know the truth behind the org ! So for all of you who are DFs or DAs and have nothing more to lose, I hope you consider going to Brooklyn. Like many others who are fading I cant be "visible" but Id like to be able to surport you in other ways.

I have to do this regularly, when my daughter visits. I make sure I hide all my "books" and clear the history on the computer

And that should be a lesson to us all. We should give ppl the benefit of the doubt when they first come here and stárt posting. It can be quite traumatic and scary for some.

Even ones who are quite angry about "us apostates" need calm non judgemental replies. Its the only we may be able to get through to them

Why do you want to be active again. And do you HAVE to have a study again?

I dont think I could go through the knowlege book, as I have giving ppl studies with it , its would be kind of ridiculous!!!!!
