i think that where you are in life has more to do with who you date then does the age difference.

Relationships and age difference
by greendawn inpeople say that love is blind to age difference but when you have/had to strike a relationship or marry with someone what's the maximum age difference that is/was acceptable to you?

Wife arranging for me to study with a brother! I need a plan!
by M.J. inhere's the situation.
my wife couldn't answer some deep issues i've raised regarding a few of the wts's teachings and dishonest representation of historical sources.
naturally, she attributes her lack of answers to her own lack of research and knowledge.

study what he doesn't want to study and that is the history of the organization. get a copy of the proclaimers book and a copy of "captives of a concept" by don cameron. the last few chapters of the book talk about studying w/ the JWs and how you are in the best situation at that point b/c you are expected to ask questions. make sure to ask the right ones. never let him concvince you that the organization is the faithful and discrete slave!!! that is a big point with the JWs. if he can't prove that to you then everything else has no foundation. GOOD LUCK!!

Can Kingdom Hall Elders be Held Liable for Encouraging or Allowing, Spankin
by frankiespeakin incouldn't get the whole title of this thread in so here it is:.
can kingdom hall elders be held liable for encouraging or allowing, spanking at the kingdom hall meetings???.
i think that they can in certain states,, and it may even be traceable to the wt organization(thru the youth book or watchtowers on disciple).
-
jaredg
if elders can't be held responsible for with holding information about pedophiles and protecting the flock then i'd say "NO" to your question about elders being held responsible for allowing spankings.

Should Intelligent Design be taught in schools?
by AlmostAtheist inkansas is holding a debate to decide.
http://www.cnn.com/2005/education/05/02/life.evolution.reut/index.html.
topeka, kansas (reuters) -- evolution is going on trial in kansas.. eighty years after a famed courtroom battle in tennessee pitted religious beliefs about the origins of life against the theories of british scientist charles darwin, kansas is holding its own hearings on what school children should be taught about how life on earth began.. the kansas board of education has scheduled six days of courtroom-style hearings to begin thursday in topeka.

Actually from my point of view God is the one who framed the natural laws so even though an individual tornado is merely the obedience to those laws doesn't mean he can't control them when He wants to:
Jesus and the storm.
Parting the sea for the Israelites.
Enoch moving the mountain (or is that just in LDS history.?)
Plagues of Egypt.
Darkness at the time of the cruxifiction.
New star at Jesus' birth.
Walking on waterQ....so bascially what you said in the first phrase is that "GOD DID IT". maybe he didn't actually cause the tornado but he "caused" the forces that made the tornado. that reasoning is not scientific!!! remember that the idea of god's are as old as mankind. the greeks believed that the forces of nature were the direct result of gods but they assigned god's to each natural force so you got apollo as the god of the sun, hephaestus as the god of fire, psoeidon the god of earthquakes so on and etc.
i'm not saying that there is no god or even that god didn't created things BUT what i am saying is that for science class to teach intelligent design is wrong b/c it's not scientific!! it should be saved for philosophy class. get it?
