  have i heard the universal life church mentioned here?

  (search isn't working.

  ) they are opening a church in our neighbourhood so please tell me they aren't those guys with the long gray beards and robes that someone posted the picture of....

  Ironic placement of the Awake magazine on "True Friends"

  i forget the date, but it was a within-the-past-year awake that had a series of articles on making true friends.

  i posted about it when i read it because it was so hypocritical.

  the mag said that true friends appreciate each other's differences, stick by each other thru disagreements, are loyal and supportive.

  maybe a stupid question but what happens to the leftover emblems after the memorial?

  are they given any significance outside of the memorial (like the bread and wine that has been blessed in a catholic mass) and saved for next year?

  or taken home and consumed by someone?

  Please Keep whyamihere & her little son in your thoughts today

  hello everybody...my daughter (in-law), whyamihere/brooke, has been at the hospital all day with her little boy, 1 yr. 4 months old...who has had such a bad case of the flu that they had to hook him up to an iv for fluid.

  he was sick all last week and then was getting better...then took a turn for the worse yesterday.

  can't keep anything down.

  they said it would come in 1975. they were wrong!

  just like moses at the waters of meribah they presumed to speak for god when they had no business.

  god made israel wait 40 years until moses died, and he is doing the same today!

  my 16 year old daughter has been dating her jw boyfriend for over 10 months now.

  his family is what the dubs would probably call "spiritually weak" but i have shown her a lot of posts from this site to let her know what is more typical behaviour for the average dub.

  it's not that she didn't believe what she read, but it is so much more effective to see it first hand.

  if watchtower rules were applied to worldly people, you could shun worldly people for silly reasons such as...buying a 2 door car .
