I love driving a manual - I am even pondering the idea of getting another vehicle with manual.
I love my Honda's!
.
my first cars were all "manual" and they were small cars, cheap on gas.. then later on in life, i spoiled myself and bought automatic cars.. last week, i tried a manual yaris, and wasn't that comfortable with the manual transmission.
maybe it's the fact that i didn't drive a manual car in 6 years.. just wondering if anyone here after driving automatic transmission cars since many years, if you would come back to manual..

i don't know about you guys, but i never pray before eating and never pray before going to bed.. first of all i like a hot meal, so i don't pray before eating, and i also never pray before going to bed, because i might fall alseep before i say amen.
been there done that...
YES! I wasn't really spiritual or anything. I guess it was just asking for forgiveness, and it took awhile to think of all that I did that week
Oh Lord Jehovah, you know what I did(giggle), I knew it was wrong but I did it anyway - and I will probably do it again. Oh come on, it was fun, you would do it too! Well anyway Yay God! In Jesus name Amen. Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
i'm trying to come up with ideas for a halloween costume!
the kids have already decided.
my 4 yr old told my wife "don't let daddy be the cow this year, he was so silly..." so my cow costume from last year is out!.
I'm still waiting for Brookie to come up with a costume for me. HEAR THAT BROOKIE???
You have a broom, don't you?
I'm so glad she has a sick sense of humor!
I love it! My kids have somewhat of a sick sense of humor, then again they are only 4 and 2 1/2!
how do you tell your heart to not give a bleep anymore???
what can you do to shut it off completely, i mean, for more than a week?
eyes are hard to control sometimes, as are hands to type with.
Beautifully written Ian, couldn't have said it better myself..... Crushes suck, and that's why its called a "Crush" - quote from my best friend Bri! You'll get over it, trust me. In the end you will look back and say to yourself "What the hell was I thinking?"

This is one of my favorite holiday's!
This year I am going as a Bride from the late 80's while my best friend is going as my Maid of honor. We've had this planned out since last Halloween. Its a huge event in Madison, WI. There about 45-50,000 people all over the famous "State Street!" I have my tacky wedding dress that I spent over $150.00. Its god awful, yet so perfect. I'll have a few pictures of us after the event.
Last year, I went as Trash from the 80's. We went into complete character - I'm on the left....
My kids: My daughter is going back in forth between princesses, last year she was Cinderella and my son Jack was Superman. They were so cute.

back when i was attending kingdom halls, our circuit had a lot of 'drop dead gorgeous' women, many whom were married to the geekiest looking guys.
i always asked myself, "how did these 'dorks' do it"!.
was this because selection was limited, or was this just a peculiarity in our area?
Good topic:
I have seen many beautiful women married to complete wannabe MS/Elder dorks. At the time I never thought anything of it, because she/they seemed happy with her/their role(s) as soon to be Elder/Elderette.
I was raised this way, find one who loves Jehovah and Jehovah will take care of the rest. My mom once said to me, (I was about 16) "I'm so glad you're pretty, because you will find a nice witness boy to take care of you, since you not good for anything else." I shake my head at that statement, because it still hurts and haunts me today.
However, I was the girl that mothers warned you about....lol. I couldn't find my geek. Oh well, maybe another life.
there are some of you that know this already but for those that dont and that are interested to know i decided a few weeks ago to end what was a relatively short relationship with and marriage to, elaine.
i dont take these decisions lightly and the last few months have silently been hell whilst i try to get a grip on my thoughts and feelings and the decisions ahead; when two people are simply too fundamentally different and do not provide for each other in the way that they should, in my view not a lot can be done and this is the situation i found and find myself in.. i know a few of you might have met elaine and for those that have i dont wish for you to think any ill of her.
i dont apportion any real blame other than on us both for the breakdown; shes still the same person you met and has some fantastic qualities.
My heart goes out to you.......
I come from a family of divorced parents. Seeing my father now, he is the happiest I have ever seen him - sometimes in life things are really not meant to be. My father cares for my mother but has moved into another marriage, which was based on love. I remember the grieving process my parents went through, but in time their hearts healed and they are better people. They were married almost 29 years.
I firmly believe in divorce, if it the best for both parties. I have seen the hurt it can cause, but I have also seen the light beyond the divorce. (I've seen many divorces)
I promise you, it will get better, just take time for yourself and start being yourself again. My only advice is, find a hobby and try and occupy your time with what makes you happy.
((((HUG))))
.
for those who didn't attend meetings for a while, imagine that you just walk into your kingdom hall 10 minutes before a meeting.
what would be their reaction?
Well???? *giggling*
I am sure a few comments would be going through their doltish minds......
Oh Sh*t!
Duck!!!! Armageddon is coming!
Please lord Jehovah make the minx/pert woman go away.
i've never quite understood the big deal about men leaving the toilet seat up but since i hear so much about it i try to comply.
i do have a pet peeve.
sometimes when i lift the seat there are obvious signs on the underside that a female has used it and not bothered to 'tidy up'.
Come on, people are dying out there and we're concerned whether it's up or down
I am hoping you are talking about the seat itself! Anyway, I was raised with 4 brothers and not to forget to mention all their friends. So I have pretty much seen and heard things I don't have the stomach to even talk about..lol. I have fallen in many many times - which pissed me off a great deal(2am pee runs were not a fav of mine). Did I complain? Nope. Why? For the very fact isn't going to a damn thing. To keep it plain and simple....."You want the seat up, put it up! You want the seat down, put it down!" They want it up, we want is down. You say Tomato, I say To-mah-to - to each his own. 2 seconds of effort isn't worth arguing about. Brooke ** starts putting up a sign on the bathroom door "Turn before you Pee"**
no, not my forehead, the back of my head!.
so, me, my bf, and jh decided to go to applebee's for din din on monday night.
there are only two smoking tables near the bar, which we took one.
Dang it Butt!!! You should of called me up...I would of came down there. You know I want to get disfellowshiped!! It would be soo cool to be DFed for 'hanging' out with you
I think Beautifulisfree and I must get together with you Butt! We can both be DF'ed for hanging out with you!
Somtimes I feel saying saying in the KH, "What's a girl got to do to get Disfellowshipped in a place like this!"
