I'm not really sick tho ... I was an painkiller addict, major headaches every bloody day, and now, to cure this, I cannot use painkillers for three weeks ... its going remarkably well too - feeling much better already.

For months! Months! I have been begging for a slower life, dying for some free time, a change to relax and sleep, and time to study. Now, my doc has ordered me home for three weeks, some medical thing, no biggie... And now, not even two weeks at home ... I am bored outta my mind.
There is a pile of books here waiting to be read, I just can't seem to get myself as to actually open one ... Bah, I wanne have friends to go out with me ... but they all have jobs ....

so there i was, slaving away in a customers front garden, cutting fascias and guttering to size prior to affixing them to his home.
like all window and gutter fixers, my clothes are covered with a hundred finger marks where i have used my forefinger to point in the mastic and then just wiped it on the nearest thing to hand, ie, me.
i look like i have been the victim of a 1000 seagull bomber raid.

i had to call her regarding my brother's legal name (why are all the names in my family f***ed up??
) anyway, she told me that she was getting my dad's (old meeting) suit ready for my wedding, and he got pissed off and said, "oh, so you're forcing me to go?

Aromatic Elixer .. I never wear aything else, since the smell is me by now. One former friend (JW) told me that her husband came home and said "Ah, Viv has been here today" ... hehe, I liked it. And now, since i dont smoke anymore, i love smelling like it again (instead of like ciggies )

the 2 jw convension-halls in the netherlands have now a bank/credit-card accespoint to give contribution to the wts with your bank or creditcards.
do you know this happens in other country's?
it is really strange to see that brs&srs are giving donations with their visa & mastercards.
How ironic .. they claim not to ask for money, yet they never minded telling us how expensive everything was, how our gratitude should also be shown in hard cash... I remember the articles about how you could benifit the watchtower in your will, and how you can tranfer money each month ... Ugh, it is a bit digusting *no, we never ask for money, but we damn sure will let you know how much we want it* creditcard payments is just another way. Gotta hand it to them tho, it is a brilliant way to get more money out of the rank and file witnesses.....
I wonder how the WT will see this in light of creditcard-debts, as i am sure they have an article about that too, somewhere ...
