  unconditional love

  i'm rather sick of hearing the term "unconditional love.

  " there is no such thing.

  love must be earned--it is not something given with no strings attached.

  Unconditional love exists. However, it is rare. I believe my mum loves me unconditionally, and I love her the same way. My father and I do not share that love. Many bonds that I believed were unbreakable have been broken because of some act or lack of action from another. Even the bests of friendships are not unconditonal, since things are expected. When expectations are not met, the bonds of friendship can be strung too tight for it to hold.

  Btw, my cats love me too, they tell me every morning, right before they demand food

  if you are the only being in existance...do you have a purpose?

  especially if there is no such thing as time or space.

  is "purpose" something which is only meaningful in a world with a serial time line, because outside of it, there is no passage of time and therefore no cause and effect?

  Well, I'm not a big fan of the God notion. Regarding that I like the phrase from Constantine "God is a kid with an ant farm". Just having malicious fun with us....

  What is the meaning of life? I dunno, but if there is a hell it's called earth. And if there is a purpose I believe it is to remain good while enduring this hell.

  Right now, the only death that would really affect me would be my mum's. I've already lost all other bonds of complete trust and love, she's the only one who stayed.

  Intimacy

  my ex-bf and i, he's a baptized jw and i'm a study, never had sex during our relationship.

  however, we dis have intimacy, meaning that we did everythin else but penetration, i know how bad this sounds, but we really did do anything you could do without there being penetration, so we were very intimate.

  i remeber that when we got together in the first place he mentioned to me once that he wouldn't have dated me if i wasn't a virgin.

  Well, erm ... what you're describing is porneia, as they so love calling it. You could get DF for it, should you be baptised.

  But, it's your body, and it's none of anybody business. I would not go about telling everyone this, and by everyone, I mean the elders. When you get another BF, and you feel like telling him this, speak about it. But keep in mind that JW's are rather tight about these matters. I did have a girlfriend who married and she wasn't a virgin. Her husband didn't want to talk about it, but he did know (before getting married to her).

  it appeared that everyone thought it was a marvellous idea.

  I was in it as well, as the assistee. My hours weren't as good as they should have been and I didn't answer at the meetings unless I had something brilliant to say. The elders had two objections to that 1) it's wasn't they place or time to give such answers. 2) Why did I feel to arrogant to give anwers in the manner 4-year old children could and would give?

  Anyway, I wasn't in it for very long. I didn't feel very much aided and soon after I got DF'd.

  how's this weekend treating you?.

  it's hard, i know, to get too excited when so many in the southern usa are suffering so much, but time for reflecting on the truth about "the troof", so settle back with a nice refreshing drink and ponder awhile with us over this weekend's poll.. the question is ................................. .

  if the elders announced we were to work in the kingdom hall with the salvation army on poor relief, i would......... 1. jump at the chance.. 2. send a "question from readers" to the watch tower.. 3. pinch myself to see if i was dreaming.. 4. complain to the circuit overseer about our 'apostate' elders.. 5. ask them who 'qualified' for the 'privilege'.
