  With the new Disfellowshipping procedure, How will the congo know who left?

  with the "new" way jw's are expelled from the congregations how would the congregation know who left on their own(disassociated) themselves or was disfellowshipped for "wrongdoing".

  when i left the elders told me that they would tell the congregation that i "disassociated"my self and that would be that.

  the whole congregation would know that i left on my own and was not expelled for immorality or wrongdoing.

  If the victim or beneficiary of the new announcement takes court action the onus is on them to prove and win a case.

  Why would "god" leave a trail of evidence that looks like evolution happened?

  We are either being lied to or the universe is a sick joke, and we can barely comprehend how sick it is before we are hurled into the everlasting torments designed by the god who claims to love us all.

  By the way ENTROPY only means that enwrgy TENDS to dissipate. In the stars, simple particles are constantly built up into more complex ones. (we see it on earth too) Some types of natural systems and cycles exist because they "export " disorder to other systems. But there is no evidence of a god or angels doing this. ( no more than the mediaeval idea that angels push the planets around)

  Apart from the prophecy stuff, everyday advice on how to avoid child death from diarrhoeah, and other good advice from WHS is passed on in the Asleep!

  i just watched the local bbc news and there was a story about a woman who'd fed her baby while sitting on a public bench.

  she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.

  there had been a complaint.

  Breast feeding is a natural part of life.

  I remember reading of a university lecturer who was disciplined because he objected to a woman student breastfeeding in his seminars.

  What would have happened if he had urinated openly into a potty in his seminars? (its only natural)

  i remember this big family in my old hall that i grew up in the late 70s and there was a young brother that was very good looking and all the young sisters in the hall wanted to date him.

  i was about 13 or 14 at the time and did not know much about gays and lesbians but somehow i felt this young brother was gay.

  i just could not put my finger on it but just minded my own business.

  There was a brother featured in the Asleep magazine, who got married on the advice of the society (I am sure he was the same one that wrote an article in the mid 70s, where he said the period living with his lover was the happiest in his life up to that time - the relationship ended when he guilted up and wanted his lover to turn JW)

  ANYWAY - in the 80s mag he returned to the troof just days before Caposis sarcoma appeared. In characteristic WTS fashion, the argument against being true to yourself was that you would make your parents cry - as he had done when he told them who he was.

  Reading the WT all you hear about is mutual masturbation, homosexuality masturbation pornography masturbation lesbianism child molesters masturbation orgies masturbation.

  I have yet in 30+ years to read a healthy detailed description of what a loving fulfilling sex life is all about.

  i solved the problem.

  this is the final and correct interpretation of john 1.1. it came to me after reading a quote by origen: "if anyone would say that the word of god or the wisdom of god had a beginning, let him beware lest he direct his impiety rather against the unbegotten father, since he denies that he was always father, and that he has always begotten the word.

  Do some research and you will discover that the gospel of John, the Epistles and the Revelation are not considered by all to be by the same man. So certain religious arguments are not credible.

  The use of greek in Revelation, is more like that of an educated man living in Greece than an ignorant fisherman who grew up in Galilee, and according to language experts is very different from the Gospel.

  Church tradition ascribed the Revelation to the friend of Jesus. It is not likely that a man of nearly a hundred years of age could have survived more than a few days in a penal colony, let alone live to be released and then write it down.

  Prisoners were treated abominably and were not given paper ink and leisure time to record their starvation induced hallucinations.
