and this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
There has to be witnesses there how else could the end come?
i can't seem to find any links to the annual report released earlier this year.
just wondering how many jws are in north korea.
it's a very oppressive place and must be very difficult for any kind of evangelizing activity.. here's an article i found about missionaries in n. korea: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/12/19/international/asia/19missionary.html?ex=1292648400&en=1735f2f1e2d4ad24&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss.

is that possible?..have there been any cases like this?.
my family have been on my case about me hanging around with people (non-jw family) that like to drink alot.
they went as far as to call me "a drunk"...now i do admit that i have been gotten drunk before on occasion, but i am not a drunk or an alcoholic.. so, i told my mother (obese) that if i were "a drunk" for getting drunk from time to time (not every day), then can she be considered "a glutton", for eating to much, obese, having health problems, all because of the way she eats?
My doctor told me "he's never seen a fat concentration victim"
Can anyone say legalistic religon.
I wonder If I can smoke if I do a Bill Clinton and don't inhale?
okay so we're still a good seven years away but before they know it the watchtower will have to deal with all those centennials, the 100 year anniversaries they hoped and prayed would never come around.. how do you suppose they'll handle it?
how should we handle it?
what on earth are any long time dubs going to be thinking?.
Jesus enthroned as king in 1914!!! What has he accomplished during the first 10% of his millennial reign?
FF,
Excellent point never thought of this.
This would be a good apostate talking point to the hardcore JWs.
He has 900 years left whats he waitin for ? There is so much to do and he's lally gaging around.
Theres the resurection and then the teaching of them, and the tranforming earth into paradise oh and the burying of billions of people and ect........
Any other king or president that got off to such a slow start would be fired.

Didn't the JWs always slam Job's wife for being unfaithful to God ??
aint i a clever bastard?
i worded that there thread title so's i get you to read this and help my poor forgetful, used to remember, brain out and show me some documentation using jw's vs. christendom teachings on this question.
here's the question.. how do you prove to a jehovah's witness that the "great crowd" spoken of in the book of revelations is a group who's eternal hope is a "heavenly one" rather than a "seperate" group of jesus followers with a seperate eternal residential destiny?.
I am so asshamed of myself for making this mistake.
I hope Earl will forgive me .
Either way Pokey looks like he is havin a good time .
its like the boy who cried wolf one too many times!!.
sincerely,.
lady liberty.
As a witness you must keep looking forward to the kingdom of god.
Don't look back any one who puts his hand to the plow yadda yadda.
I don't know how you are able to read the bible then though??

I don't have the answer to your question, but I want that cash, so I'm blackmailing you with this picture of you and pokey. ( no need to ask why you named him that)
ok.. so..as i posted on a recent thread scans of many places the society claims to be a "prophet", see here:http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/122290/2160659/post.ashx#2160659.
notice this claim.. and note too that it was only 7 years before 1975:http://www.jwfiles.com/scans/aw10-8-68p23.htm.
and now look at what they wrote after the big 1975 let down:.
fjtoth,
Good illustration.
This is what is so difficult when faced with the the facts about jws.
You come to the realization that they are diametrically opposed to god.
They are actually helping Satan.
It's hard for me to write this and think about this right now, even after all these years.
in 1995 the wts as time finally caught up with them, they had to yield to the inevitable and admit that its hitherto interpretation of the so called 1914 last generation was erroneous.
to all intents and purposes the end was indefinitely posrponed it could be centuries away according to the new explanation.
yet the r&f do not seem to realise these implications and are apparently suffering from collective blindness they still believe the end is as near as it was before 1995, just round the corner.

Still took me about 3 years to get the flock out.

"this, then, is how you should pray: " 'our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, .
nwt.
Notice that even the WTS is not bold enough to put in "Jehovah" in place of "Our Father" or "your name." Why is it that JWs address their prayers to "Jehovah" rather than the more intimate and loving address, "Father"? Is it considered respectful to call one’s father by his first name; does it indicate a more closer relationship?
Dub children shouldn't be allowed to call their parents mom and dad or father and mother, how disrespectful of them they should address them by their first name.
How many times was Jehovah's name used in prayer in the new testament by Jesus ar anyone else,
ummm 0 times.
I still can't remember anybody praying for spirit and truth or accurate prophesy .
Me either but then again no need to they have all the answers.
I remember prayers thanking Jehovah for the wonderful literature and the wonderful faithful and discreet slave and the wonderful watchtowers and their wonderful spiritual truths.
Thanks blondie for your long suffering in posting this.
