If so then he is the quilty party in that and the congregation should judge him for it, they are good at that, you are not because you dont come under their jurisdiction. If you make the mistake of following through with the witnesses, you will find that you will always have the stigma of you prier life and relationship with him, and then it will take you years to find the skeletons on the JW closet, and what an emptiness you will feel then. This is what this whole board is about....filling the emptiness..understanding the betrail..searching for the truth.

It is really a multi layed situation, how long has hubby been a JW? many times a new one wants to convert the world and doesnt have the understanding why everyone cant see it their way. One who is truely a Christain at heart will never impose his will, teaching or religion on the one he loves, he will live it, teach it by example. There is no reason for him to treat you differently, except for deep respect and understanding, exersicing Gods love towards you. The only problems he could have is, if... you have practices, habits, that violate the witness creedo. Your love is your bond and if his religion is going to damage that then it is on him, and he will not only lose you, but if what he believes is true, he will lose his life too. When the princeples of the Bible are applied to marriage it can only be better, but twist it and it can be devestaing. I guess it comes down to sharing him with the org, time and energy wise. But if he practices what he preaches he should be a shining example of what a loving husband can be, which should make you a happy wife.

i have heard that jw's are against the use of touch in therapy, and i am wondering if this statement is correct?
or does it only apply to bodywork where the therapist has a "spiritual intention", for example by asking silently for answers to specific questions?
They are afraid that touch, which feels good, is sexual, or can be. They are so uptight, that touching can lead to imoral thoughts and actions, so they try and keep a dont touch anyone but your mate policy.

Your situation with your family, can not and should not be interfered with by the borg as long as you do not express your opinions about religion. I am sorry that it becomes a personal decission on the part of your family, as to whether or not maitain a family relationship with you. As you are thier care provider, it would not be exercising a sound mind to throw you over because you DA yourself, their love should move them to try and recover you as a lost sheep instead of punishing you. If they deny you the opportunity to render Christian love and service to them, then they violate Gods law on love, the one true identifing mark of a Christian.
Love yourself, because that is where the true God lays with in you. When you begin to find that strength then this pain will only be tempary.
