In the old days the witnesses had a reputation for putting their foot in the door so the householder couldnt close the door.
Ive never seen anyone writing about that here but with many non JWs it was well known.
i had 2 nice ladies come to the door this morning.
i played it very cool as long as i could, asking "dumb" questions like what ever happened to your 1914 generation teaching?
i knew it could only go so far and sure enough they began to smell a dirtyratcat.

You are all completely wrong global warming does exists its a 50 billion a year industry. Who can argue with that.
yesterday it was the day of the global inviroment.
as i walked to the street going to work, the main square of the capitol was filled with small children and their teachers with huge paintings, songs, art work with recycled elements demanding a cleaner plannet.
when the old generation will pass those little ones that will take in charge with all the inviromental education they had they will go for a better world.i'm sure about it, you could see it in their small eyes.
Here in Australia we are in a very long drought. Ten years ago the global warming people predicted with gobal warming the rainfall would increase which is in fact correct because everytime without exception when there is an increase in temperature there is also an increase in rainfall.
So why are we now in a drought and the global warming people are telling us the drought is from global warming? It seems to me every arguement is an arguement for global warming in some peoples minds.
What size is Al Gore,s carbon footprint? A big one I imagine.

Buy oil shares thats the only answer. Also motors can be converted to lpg and the cost per litre or gallon is half
Petrol is about $6.00 a US gallon here of $1.50 a litre. The US gallon is slightly less than an imperial gallon we used to use .
what are some words or phrases that people outside of the usa find amusing or interesting?
When Paul Hogan used the word shrimp it was for the American market advertising tourism in Australia. By far the majority in Australia would use prawn just as our English friends do. The words we use here in Australia seem also close to South African.
