  My Mom just passed away.

  dear friends.

  i've posted earlier this year that my mom suffered a stroke.

  i just got the news that she passed away this evening.

  Refusing to eat Lucky Charms cereal...

  as i sit here eat my favorite cereal for breakfast, i remember a time when it used to offend me to eat lucky charms.

  i passed the last exam to get my final microsoft certification, mcse, and just did it in time to have done them all within a year !

  Lucky Charms were banned from our house too. So was Count Chocula and that other Booberry cereal. It was made quite clear that all these breakfast cereals were demonic. Eating them could be a way to become demonized yourself.

  Doesn't everyone have childhood memories like that??

  Unlike worldy kids' parents, our parents loved us and were concerned with our enternal lives on paradise earth. Personally, I have a hard time imagining a thing more threatening to a child's eternal salvation than Satan's very own sugary breakfast cereal.

  does anyone still have thier old service time slips?

  i still have all of mine dating back to when i first started counting my time!

  i always kept a copy for myself besides the one i turned in.

  Can we picture on the "day" of reckoning---Jesus holding boxes of our time slips and a clipboard, checking off how many hours we "put in" all those years as we come face-to-face with him?

  LOL -- except I think some of us will have some explaining to do.
