  Hey Vol:
  Reading your story sent shivers through me.When I hear all these stories every week about people leaving it reminds me how emotional it is for everyone going through the breakthrough period.I have seperated myself from them so much since leaving 17 years ago that I have forgoten how strapped they are.

  Good Luck,You did the right thing,I love the part when you said you didn`t want to write a letter or go to th J committie meeting thats strong,and who really cares anyway what they say or do your free!!!

  Childhood memories of the "Truth"

  can you remmember any of the things you got up to or happened to you when you were a child growing up in the "truth"?.

  i remmeber once in a meeting throwing up all over an elderly sister.. also i remmeber the time when we were playing out side and there was this kid most of us didn't like, and a wall that had a very rought surface to it.boy and wall meet , blood goes every ware, parents run outside and panic.. the rest of us laught.. how about the rules you had to follow?.

  me and my brother were banned from drawing while the meeting was on.. that probably because we used to draw over all the walls.. also i remmember my dad smaking us before we went to the meeting , just incase we did something wrong.. yes it was different being a watchtower kid.

  NO HORSEPLAY OUTSIDE THE KINGDOM HALL!!!!
  Yet again denied any form of normalitie(having fun).So they want you to only play with the other kids at the hall but you never got to see them because everyone lived so far apart.We would sneak in games of penny hockey and penny football downstairs on the table but that was soon banned!

  I remember this one brothers daughter always stroking his wank and he was so into the talks it didn`t concern him until about the tenth stroke when he had a semi.

  Am I the Oldest One here??

  today is my birthday, born in 1936. that makes me 66. i can hardly beleive it.

  i'm still in good health but know it's just a short run until something does me in.

  i'm really thankful for the great life i've enjoyed, no real problems that i consider serious.

  this statement is prety interesting.

  it's taken from the very latest watchtower article (april 1, 2002) the final sentence of paragraph 14 reads:.

  "if jehovah's organization knowingly endorsed false teachings, advice to read the bible would never be given to jehovah's witnesses and those to whom they preach.".

  leave me alone...a survey.

  ever since i released the news about the island project im working on, a lot of my online friends have told me that they would probably go crazy if they found themselves on an island.

  maybe they are right but ive been wondering ever since just how much interaction people really enjoy with others in their life.. i know im an introvert and enjoy spending a lot of time by myself but i also enjoy spending some time with others as well.

  Mind,very interesting!I am a social camelion,I can adapt to being in situations where I am alone where there is knowbody I know.I also really enjoy being with friends whenever I can.My alone time is when I go cycling sort of down time,thinking things out while enjoying the scene.

  hi there,.

  my name is kep, and i've been looking on and off for a while and hadn't had the courage to say hello.. however, i feel i should should introduce myself as i've posted comments over the past 2 days.. i have enjoyed this site and have been able to see that there are many good ex-jws, just like me.. i have been "out" for almost 7 years now, and in the last 6 months have finally been able to let go of the borg.. free at last....

  at 8.30 gmt today, buckingham palace announced that the queen's younger sister, princess margaret had died as the result of a fourth stroke.. englishman.. truth exists;only falsehood has to be invented.
