  Why the disrespect for Jesus?

  now i understand completely that most in this forum are 100% against jws and the watchtower.

  what i don't understand is the disrespect that has been shown for such a sacred occasion that is the memorial (last supper).

  whether you agree with jws or not, the fact is that the last supper has a lot of meaning for christians.

  my cousins daughter was over visiting me this year and she pointed out something that i never would have thought.

  she noticed how quiet i was around my family and asked if it was because they were jw`s.

  i thought about it and i said yes it was!.

  notice: i think these are questions for christians.... okay, dub's have big plans for the future: preaching, armageddon, paradise on earth, perfect people.... does anyone here believe that whatever is right now, is exactly the way god wants it?

  These questions seem to be easy answers for any religious group because there answers give GOD a reason for thinking and easialy relateable as he almost appears human and also makes mistakes!

  Dear Violet:

  You know I love you, we have talked about so many things together in the short time we have been talking. I know that you defend the WT and your beliefs yet you seem to be on the other side as well. Perhaps you are confused and are leaning to the easy answer as I may call it. I often wonder how someone like yourself can keep coming here and not see the other side with all the information that is available to us.

  I don`t want to tell you what is right or wrong because that wont work, I want you to decide and what ever you do I hope that your comfortable with it. Every choice we make in our lives has an outcome and that choice must make you happy!

  im about to disassociate myself, and would like to know from those who have been disassociated , is there anything you would have done different before you disassociated yourself?

  do you recommend writing a letter?

  i really don't want to write a letter, cause that is what they want you to do, and they will never give you anything in writing.

  FADE AWAY, and when they call you just say your not interested anymore! I think you`ve got some good advice already and I think you should decide for yourself. No matter how you do it the further along in time we go the further away you will become from your decision and the less it will mean then. After 17 years away I hardley remember what I believed as a JW and now find it quiet funny yet very relieved!

  i was raised 3rd generation dub.

  my dad is an elder as his dad was and my brother and the other brother is ms on the way to elderhood.

  i'm df for 21 years when i was 20. the only credit i can give my parents is they're crazy would be whether they were catholic, buddist or atheist.
