i so loved the post of the kitten the other day.
i checked-out this week and drank three bottles of gin, even though i stopped in toto four months ago, my wife is out of town.
please do not post anything about counseling here as i have tried that and am on lots of meds.
I'm sure your kids would prefer a hug then insurance money. I know I would. Take care of yourself. Talk to someone who knows what you're going through and has worked their way through it. You might not want to now but 5 years from now you'll be glad you did.

i understand that reexamine.org was somehow based in malaysia or some such place -- far out of the reach (at least, i thought) of wt legal tentacles.

Yes and no. Here's the condensed version of what happened over a period of a year or so.
About a year and a half ago, reexamine.org recieved a letter from the Watchtower Association Malaysia demanding that the site stop hosting copyright protected material immediately. The individial who ran reexamine.org was previously assured by the hosting company that anything could be hosted on the space provided however the hosting company was not expecting the copyright owner to have a Malaysian office and to use the Malaysian law to shut the website down. So after getting a letter from a Malaysian courts, the web host had no choice to remove the website.
The owner of reexamine.org faught with the web hosting company and after a month of being shut down had the site back up and running, but under the promise that copyright protected material would be removed. The intention was to relocate the hosting to a non-JW friendly country however the storage and bandwidth requirements for the site made hosting elsewhere extremely expensive. At the end of it's life, reexamine.org was using about 15 gigs of storage and about 500 gig of bandwidth every month. Hosting with the previous company cost about $200 USD per year, moving the site would have cost the person operating reexamine.org a lot more then that.
After looking in the Middle East, China, Russia, Sealand and elsewhere, the person opperating reexamine.org gave up and allowed the hosting to expire, retiring the website.

i think there is one at my hospital because of what a coworker said one time in reference to blood doctrine.
i can't imagine them going into medicine with all the time it requires, between school, residency, etc.

so someone in my hubbys family who has been shunning me and i have not been able to see her kids etc and said it was my choice to leave so i must accept the consequences etc has been caught out.
she's had three affairs over the last two years, with both sexes plus watching porn sex toys etc .
anyway its her final jc meeting tonight, so do you reckon (and she has told them she can't say it definately won't happen again!
They'll turf her but mostly because of the both sexes thing.

i used to start looking at the clock behind me, look at my watch, look at the speaker or person handling the part and give obvious facial expressions expressing my dissatisfaction.
it was a pet peeve of mine!
a few times when i had the last part in a service meeting, i'd say, rather sternly,"this originally was a 15 minute part but because we are running out of time, we will dispense with (whatever).".
Open my song book and stand waiting. Sheesh, I wish I'd have done that, but I just thought if it right now.

my advice to any victim of jw's that would complain about sisters wearing these pretty dresses would be to take a pair of scissors with them to the hall and cut the strings off right in front of the complainers and ask if that is better.

Yes, but as for all things there is a time and a place. There is nothing worse then going to a meeting and sister Hottie is sitting in front of you wearing something tight and revealing. It's hot and I want to take off my jacket, but the last thing I want is to take it off for fear that my pants have become tight and revealing. How do I solve this problem? Tell sister Hottie to cover it up, or else she's weak.

At a convention I once attended the local crazy ex-JW showed up wearing a Burger King crown and walked through yelling "I'm your king!" Went in one side of the auditorium and out the other and wasn't touched.
As for your plan, I know for a fact that the assembly that you would go to has security set up at the main (and only) entrance. They're the ones that smile and greet you like you're entering WalMart, but they're actually watching for people who aren't wearing convention badges and people just walking in from the streets and they follow them.

i'm new here and i have this friend that have recently moved here and not even a month that he has been here at the kingdom hall that i attend one of the elders made the announcement that brother xxxxx has been reproved.. i was just comming up with the reasons why he might of gotten reproved any stories, suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated?

It can be for absolutely anything, but the fact that it was announced means that others know about it. Ask around and I'm sure you'll find out.
