As for leaving your wife, you'd be wise to consult a lawyer as you may lose some of your rights if YOU leave as it may be seen as abandonment.
Move into the basement or on the couch for a bit and go on living your life taking care of yourself.

Good luck. How you planning on getting rid of all those books? Target practice? Fire? Ripping them apart may be good therapy.

okay, so my wife and mom both got back from their public talk / wt study this evening.

my loudmouthed sister asked if there were any announcements.

the bookstudy is hereafter known as "the congregation bible study".

I wonder how much of this is due to legal, you'd think that a "church sponsored" event at a private home is just asking for a possible lawsuit. For example, a study slips on some ice and wants to make some quick cash ... or much worse, someone is assauted sexually in the private home by the homeowner that the congregation said was a safe home. I wouldn't doubt if that had something to play in the reasoning behind it.

fs in certain residential areas is quite limited due to 'restrictions' but somehow jehovah's spirit prevails and blesses!.

pioneers on paper are quite common as are hefty donations to the society.. .

Not too many celebs in my area but Mel Gibson lived in our territory about 8 years ago as his kids went to a private school in the city. I used to deliver to him with FedEx (well to his house, his assistant always answered the door for (Mr. G"), but never called on him. There was a JW who had the landscaping contract at his house though, so that's how he got witnessed to, I'm sure.
I did place mags with Owen Nolan when he was playing with the San Jose Sharks. He had an Irish Wolfhound that jumped all over me and got his fur all in my wool suit. Not sure if he still lives there or not.

Facinating, but untrue.
You'd like to think that, wouldn't you? but it is true. Google "godfather of grunge" and you'll find out why. And he is Canadian too. I had tickets to see Pearl Jam open for him back in 1992 but having good JW parents, I couldn't go.

When you're in the reply field, right above where you're typing, you'll see all the formatting options. The bottom row immediately above the text window you'll see font/justification options, then above that you'll see your cut/paste and insertation options. On that row (from the right side) you'll see a "QUOTE" button (looks like a quotation bubble), the "EMOTICON" happy face button and then beside that is the "PICTURE" button. Select that and a window will pop up, where in the top field you enter the URL of the image that you want to insert, then select "OK"
