I think that this guy answers all the WT calls when you call with questions, I recognize his voice. I wonder how many times a day he tells people that they should write in their questions. I wonder how many people actually do write them, and then how many people actually get a responce. You'd think that if the end was so near, they'd have several people answering calls to help people ASAP instead of letting them wait for a couple months (I waited almost 6) for an answer.

I'm a block from the Niagara Falls Casino. I don't even notice it there, except for traffic on summer weekends. I think it's good for tourism and bringing more USD into Canada.

!but i realised that this time i'm so free from the wt influence i hope they have a great time, get totally sloshed and can't wait to see them staggering home!
UK pints are more watered down the US pints ... if you want some good strong brew you gotta head to Canada!
Pub crawls are fun! It's been a couple years since I've been to one though, mind you a couple weekends ago I ended up crawling from one to the next due to being kicked out of a few for over intoxication. The next one will always let you in though, for a few minutes anyway.

has anyone had the experience from talking to ex-jws from their home town?
it really is an eerie experience to talk to someone who knows the exact place, circumstance and lifestyle that you do.
even more so than the connectedness of places like jwd.
I have a couple times, but lately I've been meeting up with JW's in my hometown that don't know (or just don't care for those who do know) and finding out what's been going on locally. Most couldn't care less that I'm no longer a JW.
Out of my friends growing up, 90% aren't active.

When I lived in Halifax we used to go to the Fisherman's Market and get shark and tuna steaks for $0.99 a pound so we ate our fair share of it. One steak would feed our family of 4. It was always BBQ'd, and what we found best was wrapping it in tin foil with a healthy dose of lemon, butter, salt and pepper and cooking it for about 10 minutes on medium. Came out perfect every time! Make sure you close the lid on the BBQ though.

i've been thinking about this for quite a while and i'm not exactly sure how the best way of putting it out there, so if it seems like i'm blabbering at points, i more then likely am and i'm sorry.
i'm kind of merging two different thoughts together, historical info i got from the book, "the bible unearthed" and personal research and discussions with others regarding "el".. el obviously played an important part in early hebrew language as it was their word for "god".
but, el was a caananite god, and to them the god of all gods, supreme god father of all things and humankind.
