that is what i want to ask my jw wife now.....cause my sister (lesbian who left jw 35 years ago) does.....and several new friends here at jwd seem to as well.........so if she loves me....and they love me.....why can't they love each other too????......................oompa.

You either do or you don't, especially after all of the years you have been together! It is kind of like being half pregnant.

It's time to "man up" and figure out where YOU are in the relationship. Have you ever told her you love her before she does you? If not, I can see why she would be very insecure.

Grow some stones, dude, and look inward, not outward.

WT almost killed me today...kinda really

so it is an incredible weather week here...hot but not much humidity..odd.

so i am riding the heck out of my bike this week...and i kinda stole my wifes ipod...she never uses it and i have learned that i really, really love listening to music while riding....and i have loaded a ton of good road tunes on it.

it is on shuffle, so i go from lynard skinnard, and just finish johnny cash..folsum prison blues (love it)..........and then it happened....on comes a monotone voice chapter 27...a bad king rules egypt.....wtf!!!

Suggestions for JW Girlfriend?

so i've been seeing this jw girl for a couple weeks now... she kind of contacted me out of the blue (i've known her since i was 4, shes two years older than i) and wanted to hook up for coffee or something.

i avoided it for about half a month.

not really avoided it, but was going to have fun with it when it came, because i thought she was just going to try to encourage me to go to meetings and whatnot.. so, first time she calls me up at like 9:30pm on a weeknight to come over to her house... so i ride my bicycle over and go inside and she and her cousin were getting drunk on alcohol and they started getting me to drink.

DRUG DEALING IN YOUR CONGREGATION

The elders kids always had the best dope. At least in my congregation.

I had one funny experience when visiting relatives in Michigan with a friend of mine. We bombed up there in my TransAm, so everybody thought we were a lot wilder than we were. My friend had a cold, so we stopped at a drug store on the way and got some Vitamin C with Acerola. So we go to the Thursday night meeting, and this kid I knew (an elders kid) tried hitting me up for some dope. I never used any at that point in my life, but when he kept pestering me, I decided to be a brat. I said I could score him some Acerola, but to be careful, because it was a wild trip!

We then gave him some, and when I saw him later that weekend, he told me how wild a trip he had on them.

Jeesh, elders kids!!!

I have made many close friends on JWD. I think that it all depends on how much effort you put into it, and how much of yourself you risk exposing about yourself to others. Honesty breeds solid friendships. With a dose of humility.

I have made many close friends on this board that support me in good times and bad. I will do my all to return the favor when needed, or not needed.

Those of you who are my close friends know who you are. And Flip, you know you are my twin brother from a different mother.
