Would you have left if you had it into a position of power?
by GermanXJW ini used to be a ms and stepped aside because i could not stand the wrong teachings (chronology, annointed etc.
) and the high pressure they worked unto people anymore.
when i stepped aside i also stopped going to the meetings and doing field service.. on the other hand, when i was in i was always longing for "privileges".

Street witnessing...

i took my wife to see bombay dreams at the theatre last weekend.
(recommended) after the show and while wandering around leicester sq, i noticed a guy selling magazines.

Street witnessing is all they seem to do here. They like to get up very early in the morning when no one's on the street to interrupt their conversations with each other. Or find a wall to stand close to and prop the mags. up against their chests with one eye on their watch .

It may not be true in this case but articles based on talks at the conventions are published every year. You'll have to wait for these to see the "official" stance.

It was at a nice restaurant. We spent over 3 hours talking and eating the staff doesn't hurry us in any way. John is always there early. Very knowledgeable people. Joseph who you might meet in PA is setting up a website to help those who were DF'd or cast aside by the org. He was showing us copies of the set up. We're always happy to welcome new people to join us.

I was there. In addition to your friend (who always tells us he knows you) there were 6 others. One of the others, Joseph will be attending the PA convention for one day. I'll tell "Jack" you wrote about him.

The WT has always had a fascination with numbers and dates. 7 being a complete number heavenly perfection, while 10 was complete in an earthly sense. It seems incredible that the statement that someone with apostate leanings could corrupt the entire congregation could be made. Panic mode has set in.
